All is not crystal clear, or what it seems! The 169.99 quoted is only for outbound (one way). Return legs are a lot more expensive. Cheapest I could find for return was £460 for the "basic" fare. With that you have to pay pretty heavily for any luggage, any meals and any seat reservations on top. Bit like a Ryan Air set up by the looks of it! £550 is the normal type (smart) of return fare, but you have to pay the "best" fare of £840 to get "in-flight entertainment". So it should be OK for "deaf, dumb and blind guys, on a diet, with a wardrobe of Singha vest and Union flag boxershorts, happy to sit anywhere! Edited by Fatboyfat

You can book the £169 outbound and £169 inbound I just checked. As for food? Take sandwiches (pret a manger). Luggage? I never take much anyway, usually buy stuff there.

Its just a cheap fare.

Im just booking as I need to be out there in March for business and the fare is £368.98, drop a sleeping pill on the way back? no problems.

I prefer to buy my sausages at my local butchers not the local pound shop , i don't think you will be getting much for that fare, maybe they even have coin slots on the toilet doors............ :D

I think this type of flight is aimed at the " Young Uns " who are going backpacking and want dirt cheap fares , although i do know some seasoned travelers who are real cheap fookers who would jump at this......!!!

It's STANSTED !

Yep, stanstead to Cologne then non stop to Bangkok. Suits me fine. I just drop half a sleeping pil and sleep all the way. Its what I don on most long haul flights anyways. I always have a good meal before the flight and rarely eat on the flights.

It's a great price. Unless you're fussy I see no reason why an ordinary bloke wouldn't jump at that deal.

Myself, I prefer a direct flight from Heathrow but if I was on a budget, I take this fare subject to their not being lengthy layovers.
