BA or Quantas ?

I had more or less decided to fly with Emirates but yesterday I got a good price with BA/Quantas Belfast - LHR - BKK direct , thus eliminating the risk of having to fly via Dubai if war breaks out . It is also £75 cheaper , better flight times & a shorter travelling time than Emirates !

 

I can get either the BA or the Quantas flight or a mixture of the 2 ( eg BA out , Quantas return ) for the same price . The Quantas flight leaves LHR 5 mins before BA & leaves BKK 45 minutes after BA so the timings are similiar . Question is which should I choose , based on airline quality , service & comfort ?

Hello Turbo.

I've flown BA twice Sydney to BKK and QF many times to Manila.

The main consideration are the timings that suit you.

But if I had to make a choice, BA.

BA has the individual seat back video screens.

Audio entertainment on both are good.

Main meals  similar, but QF breakfasts were abysmal  [smiley=thumbdown.gif].

BA crew more friendly.

I'm easy to please.  [smiley=gulp.gif]

                 I had same choice last year, opted for BA out,

Quantas/return,food on both,much the same,ARSEand LEG room very cramped.

Same here Turbo.

 

Flew BA & Quantas last year to BKK, good flights, food, TV in seat. either would do ok.

I've flown with both BA and QANTAS and I very much prefer BA.
