I'm doing a dad and daughter trip and I have to get her back in school. She's 14. The UAL double miles promo just was announced so I grabbed it. I'm retired so I have the time to go. I'll end up with 60K frequent flyer miles, that's a free trip back. ;D ;D ;D  14 days

BigDUSA,

Ernie Banks would be proud of you.  This also looks like the perfect way out of your problem with the Eden Alumna, tell her the first trip is a father-daughter bonding trip and you'll only be able to get away from your daughter for short periods of time when she is asleep.  But because you feel so bad about not be able to spend more time with her (Eden) your coming back.

Hey Dude...Do the math on buy a ticket and Upgrade..

If you are a premied exec or 1 k your bonus is almost the miles for an upgrade...SFO BKK is 25 K O/W

You'll get about 40 W/ Bonus....I used the MP Credit Card...shop at Safeway, Stay at Marriotts, and Use Hertz, go for Mileage Plus Dining and I always have enough....Remember to check the upgrade restrictions

as to your status...The Qand V fares from UAL.com won't upgrade except for certain 1k programs.

I play the game and never pay for Business...

Hint of the day...Sit just behid first class and slip up with them as you deplaine in BKK...You'll get a 10 min headstart to Passport control no wait ..Bags out first... and I think I can smell Nana Plaza before the last row folks are out of the airport....

Plus the sleeping all the way from Narita puts me right in the zone.  I've been in the  J.W. Marriott  1:15 after I walked off the plane....Do the math...One more night of

LOS Sanook!   Makes that little tip very valuable..

Enjoy...I will, No that is the Friendly Skys..

Note after 3/15 only 777's to Narita and as always 777's

NRt to BKK.... Best Seat on the 777 Business  is 8D  First row of Business leg room and first served!
