What if a theocraty is the will of the people?

 

Besides a religion doesnt have to be part of the ruling body since a believer probably will try and follow the principles of his religion most of the time not only in church, during cermony etc.

 

An example would be John Aschroft in USA whos party isnt explicity christian per se (as opposed to for instance Christian Party). Yet its clear that christian values is quite high in his agenda.

Sved, if it really IS the will of the people then no problem.  Truth is that in many countries some 75-80% of the population are not religious yet put up with bombastic religious based laws.  All I am saying is that the religious organisations should have no say in the governing of a country.  

 

If only we could all be tolerant of each other then it would be a world of smiles, heck I even tolerate Baz but only cos he is so f*cking eloquent.  ;D

like  to do in indonesia to cling to power and by doing this the army is getting more money and power to be

the "Salvation Army" of indonesia and expand the power and corruption they allready have only for the

benefit of a few 3-4 stars and family-friends
