I asked the staff at Maneerat, and they told me that the transfers had to be bank to bank, especially not a service like Wise, and that I should provide documentation on both the sending account and the receiving account.  I'll see if I can get any other confirmation of that.  If anyone thinks differently, please post it on here, especially including any documentation to support it.

A response was posted to this on another board I post on which I will paraphrase here:

It's possible to do Wise transfers if they are clearly marked as originating outside Thailand.  This only seems to work for Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn.  The process varies by bank.
