Help.  Any tips on how I change my password. I have registered and logged in successfully but everytime I go to my profile, type in a new password, verify it and click change profile, I am told I am not permitted to change it.

 

Any clues anyone whilst I am still logged in otherwise I'll never remember the one sent.

You have not been granted Membership status by Pete yet which is probably why you are not authorised to change your password.

 

If you email Pete then he will upgrade you to Member.

Thanks PSP. I was daft enough to think, as a member of the old board, that registering successfully and using the password that had been e-mailed back to me would be enough.
