Domestic Flight Security Regulations.

Recommended Posts

Due to the trouble in the South, the authorities are tightening security at the airports, and demanding ID even for domestic flights. To be fair, it does state that on the ticket cover, but having left my passport behind in Pattaya the other day, I very nearly wasn't allowed on the flight to Chiang Mai. So anyone else travelling on a domestic flight in Thailand, please bring your passport or at least something else with your photo on it. :bonk

Eric, it is a good policy to carry your passport, or photocopy at all times while in LOS.

A freind of mine was asked for his by the police one evening, it was at hotel, so was told to bring to police station next day, he almost missed his flight home.

Thats why I like multi-pocket shorts , room for everything, even GF's purse. It does give you unsightly bulges below the waist, but that doesn't bother me.

Nidnoyham, sounds like a sensible idea, and I'll certainly take a photocopy around with me next time. Been to LOS so many times, and everything seems so easy sometimes, I guess I got a bit complacent. As for unsightly bulges, a few more won't make much difference. :chogdee
