sinbinjack,

When you are appointed a moderator to this forum please feel free to dictate what constitutes reasonable content of anyone's posts. Until then, STFU. :D

But just to show we are all nice guys really I'll start a thread that you may add some enlightened comments to. :(

I agree with sinbinjack, I am going back this July and am looking for the best deal I can get.

I have no Interest in listening to a pile of Muppets talking about what flights were there in July 1987 or the model of aircraft that was there at the time. In my opinion the posters are only intent on letting newer posters be aware of the fact that they were in thailand in the 80's, "WE DON'T CARE" This post is London to BKK in July, which means this July, we have no interest in what flights were available in the 80's. Please confine your posts to informtion on July 2004, thanks

Jodyn,

Jeez, another wannabe moderator.

Actually, the thread is about an American guy wanting to travel RTW from Chicago via London and Bangkok.

If you post a request for the specific information you are after I am sure the muppets will give it to you.

My original post was for flights from London to BKK. I will be in London for a research meeting and will go to LOS from there. The University is absolutely inflexible in doing a RTW ticket with me paying my part since I will be using federal grant money for this trip. My actual question was if, as time drew nearer to the date, I could expect to find a better fare as airlines try to fill unsold seats. My thinking was that people who will travel make their plans(non-mongers) earlier on, and not in a more last minute fashion.

poskat
