Anyone know of any cheap flights in sept

Recommended Posts

Eva Air's Evergreen Deluxe class is an older business class seat (38" pitch) with economy service. You get your own checkin line (always shorter then economy) and seat back video (economy is on a small screen in the overhead.) Pretty good deal for the price. Oh, and you get 1.25 times airmiles if you become a member of thier FF Club.

I flew Evergreen Deluxe last year from London to BKK and loved it! This year, I am going to try Super Business class.

I just booked from JFK for the Friday night before Labor Day for $879 on China Air.

I could have booked for $818 on United but will have 12 extra hours in the LOS this way. It's a one week trip so every second counts!

China Air has a shitty website and drunk pilots but friendly flight attendents!

...as long as those pilots have no tooth-ache, it should be OK... :cussing

I fly from Los Angeles to Singapore for $27.00 then RT Singapore to Bangkok for usually around $250.00.

R/T LA to Singapore for $27 is one hell of a deal, where do I get that fare?

You would have to be in the U. S. military or, retired military as I am. The US Air Force contracts with several commercial airlines to fly troops to Asia from the west coast and to Europe from the east coast. As long as their are seats available, and there usually is, retirees can fly free except for some taxes or junk airport fees which is the 27.00. They fly from LAX to Seattle then non-stop to Japan and on to Singapore. From there, I pick up a cheap commercial airfare up to BKK.

I could actually fly free to Singapore if I wanted to go on military aircraft but they are not as reliable. You could spend several days at an airbase waiting for a flight then you could make several overnight stops across the Pacific pond.

I once again had to change the day I leave :grin-jump it's my third time this year :rotflmao but this time it is only 1 day. I was supposed to leave Friday afternoon out of LAX and get into Bangkok at 1:00am on Sunday but I had to change it to Saturday night out of Vegas and Sunday morning out of San Francisco (1:00am), I get into Bangkok on Monday morning at 11:00am on Eva.

I was paying $947 including tax in Evergreen Deluxe out of LAX on Friday afternoon and I was taking Southwest to LAX. Today I changed it to Saturday night and paid $755 including tax on Eva.com and that includes the connecting flights to California on America West. I booked economy and had 40,020 miles left so I could use them to upgrade on both long haul flights, i'll have 20 miles left in my account. I'll get 5000 bonus miles for booking with eva.com when travel is complete. I'll get credit for a future flight on Southwest, maybe TJ after LOS or Costa Rica. :gone I need a second job. :kissing

I am going thru San Francisco because the upgrade to Evergreen Deluxe was not available on the LAX flight. The woman on the phone told me Evergreen Deluxe can be available to purchase but the upgrade wasn't available.

The reason I had to change my ticket is because I had planned on using a perfect attendance day at work, I hadn't called in since last September (at lax) and wasn't late until 3 weeks ago when I overslept for work. :eyecrazy :fingers At my job I get one day off with pay if i am not late or have a call in for 6 months. Sometimes they let it go since I work at 3am and it is very easy to oversleep, especially if I am drinking beer all day. :fight My bitchy boss was in a bad mood that day, she was probably Ovulating.

cheers
