Warning! Virus in Kodak Photo Shop !

Hi,

Most of us now use digital camera, so be carreful in Pattaya :

 

I give last week a Memory Card to the Kodak shop situed on the part of South road between 2nd road and Beach road

 

When I came back to get my pictures I had a "Sorry we have a problem and can't read your card"

 

I return to my room and put my card in my computer to try to understand and... "Virus Alert !"

 

I look the content of the Card : No more pictures but a big .exe file !

 

Not a big probleme for me : my computer has a good up-to-date anti-virus and I saved all my pictures before going to the photo shop

But imagine if I not had my computer : all my pictures would be lost

 

So I made a format of my card, copy my picture from my computer, and gave my Memory Card to an other Kodak shop on 2nd road, with no problem this time

 

I do not know well what we can do to avoid this kind of big problem, but I think it could be usefull to mention that on this board...
