I am a relative newbie - took my first trip in May and I am returning on Oct 30th through Nov 10. I planned my trip so I could play some golf and see the tourny is on the 6th. I am an American and would like to play. I have a couple of questions. I don't hold a handicap. I only play four or five times a year because of my work but still can shoot in the low 80's. How do I get in without the handicap card. Can you rent clubs at the club and will I have any trouble registering on Sunday? Retired Arlington Firefighter

I booked my flight in Oct two weeks ago. Tried to go through travel agent but she could not save me money over Orbit. The best I have been able to find from Dulles in Wash is a direct 23 hour flight to Seoul then BKK for $1150 total. I have a gogo pickup which was nice last time to start your trip. You arrive at 11;45P then get to Pattaya about 2:30A. Still lots of things to do with you girls. Get your flight early - prices will start to go up with fuel prices - I wouldn't wait. I went to Pattaya for the first time in April/May by myself. To hell with taxi's, I paid for the pick-up service offered by most gogo's. Driver met me in the airport with a plaque with my name on it, took my baggage - I got into the back with two girls and enjoyed my ride to Pattaya - one girl stayed with me for two days the other stayed with me the last four. Partied until 7:00 most mornings playing pool with my girls (she knew where we could go after closing). Once woke up with two naked gogo's (one was free). I was lucky enough to see the Great One play in 1978. The Oilers beat my Capitols. See Alex play this year has brightened up a rather dismal 10 year void in Washington DC sports other than the DC United. We now have Joe Gibbs, the Nationals (although an old timer like me calls them the Nats) and Alex the Great. Should have a strong supporting cast next year as another Russian Rocket comes home to roost and we will have a high round draft pick.
