  1. I've never flown to BKK in the summer months and all the offers I can find end in June. I know July is start of the peak holiday season in the UK so is it possible to get a good deal around the middle of the month? If anyone has ever done this time of year or could point me towards some websites I'd be very grateful. GR.
  2. As I'm shortly hitting the sack and will not be online tomorrow morning as I'm heading for Heathrow this offer is now closed (unless we get talking on the plane or in Abu Dhabi). GR.
  3. MM, Thanks. I get in around 6.30pm I'm afraid so the offer is really just for anyone on the flight so we can meet before the Arrivals Hall. GR.
  4. Thanks for that, it looks good. The place I go in BKK is just around the corner from Soi Cowboy (Soi 23 and turn right) and the TOM Yum is 60B and a large Singha 65B. I'm hoping t find something similar that I can just go along to when I feel hungry (which I will be on Tuesday). I hope to be on the street around 10pm so not very late. GR.
  5. Sorry, missed that. Can an Admin move this to the correct forum please. GR.
  6. I arrive Tuesday night and want to get something to eat (food not pussy, well maybe later ) around Soi 6. I'd like Tom Yum or some other Thai dish from somewhere that caters for locals as well as the odd falang. Anyone have any ideas - I haven't been to Patts for 5 years so my local knowledge is a little outdated. Cheers, GR.
  7. I'm flying from LHR on 304 connecting at Abu Dhabi for the 401. I have a car booked at BKK so will be driving straight to Patts. Anyone on board need a lift? GR.
  8. Thanks all for the suggestions, I'll look them up. I'm picking up and dropping the car at the airport so I don't need two taxis. I did the same in Phuket last year and enjoyed exploring the countryside so I plan to do more of the same. Explore by day and Singha and fun by night For your information my trip will be 6 nights Pattaya, 5 nights Myanmar then 5 nights Bangkok (Xmas in Cowboy). GR.
  9. Hi everyone, I'll be in Pattaya in Dec. picking up a car at BKK and driving down. I will, therefore, have wheels to get outside Pattaya during the day to hopefully visit any local zoos, wildlife parks, nature reserves, national parks etc. I'm particularly fond of snakes. In the past I've been to the Tiger Farm but that's about it. Any suggestions for any nature related things to see or do within a hour or two of Pattaya would be much appreciated. Cheers, GR.
