I was torn between Chato's Land but will go with Tora, Tora, Tora I am not sure about the comma's but know he plaid Admiral Bull Halsey in that. He must have been very rich. He started in film's and did a lot of TV work and then back into films. In those days, you were either a movie star or TV star. TV was where washed up movie actors went. It was an odd time and still exists to some degree although cable has changed that, i.e. Kevin Spacey in Netflix's House of Cards. But I digress.

He still may be .I have not heard any comments from law enforcement on this. It went well beyond disciplining a child.

Noise level on LK Metro

A few trips ago I stayed on Soi 7. My room was on the eighth floor and the noise was unbelievable. Of course if you go to bed early in Pattaya....... -

Peterson will not be playing. The Vikings are taking the PC route. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/minnesota-vikings-reverse-field--opt-to-sit-adrian-peterson-during-legal-process-102941667.html

Well nothing like a little hyperbole but it was bad. It was a whipping to be correct and not a beating. The photos I saw on TV were taken by the mother a few days after the event. They showed injuries consistent with a small whip being used. Some blood was drawn as there was was scabbing. Welts are very apparent. Peterson allegedly took a small branch or twig off a tree, stripped the leaves and used it for corporal punishment. In my day, this was a parental prerogative. Today, whether you are a proponent of corporal punishment or not, this is beyond acceptable. http://dailysnark.com/pictures-adrian-petersons-sons-beating-wounds-emerge/ Hyperbole even in the link, so I should not be so hard on BigD for going with the mob. This went beyond corporal punishment, imho. There appears to be rage at play. As to punishment: Ray Rice - 2 games and then suddenly a possible lifetime ban? The ban was six for future incidences as established after Rice's initial punishment was announced. The NFL doing a CYA? C'mon man! Ray McDonald - not charged - yet. Peterson - not charged and should be allowed life, liberty and pursuit of his lively-hood until he is, at a minimum, charged. If Peterson did what I see in those pictures, a lifetime ban is not enough to satisfy me. Both of my two kids got one swat on the butt. My son for running out into traffic at age two or three and my daughter making a beeline for a down escalator as a toddler. It was a fear reaction on my part. My kids are great adults. No harm no foul. Violence teaches only fear, especially to the degree it appears happened in the photos. I would say a whipping like this leaves psychological scars.

Noise level on LK Metro

15-18? That is totally amazing. I need to get back there. Things have changed so much. -
I have enjoyed my stays on LKM in the past but on my last trip there were only two gogo bars on opposite ends of the soi. There appears to be many more gogo bars in the central portion of the soi if I understand it correctly. Has the soi become significantly noiser, especially from late night music levels?

Having Trouble Copying And Pasting

I use IE11 on this new computer. I agree that the functions that are failing me on this board with my new computer work in Chrome and they also work on my still usable IMAC (Safari). I will switch to Chrome starting tomorrow for accessing this board. This is not the only site that issues (not just those discussed here) are problematic with IE11. Chrome it is. My understanding is it is more secure as well. I conduct most of my online business transactions on my Mac. My former company's IT department did instruct employees to use Chrome for any personal business conducted at work on their computers (all Windows 7 in my facility). They are a huge company and have to deal with many IT issues including phishing. Apparently Chrome is more secure but I am not an expert. -
Just a thought in the form of a question - with the Ukraine thing going on and western (NATO country) economic sanctions against Russia, is there a connection?

During my last trip, I met a family from California - mom, dad, hot 16-17 y/o daughter and a 15 year old son. The dad and I got to talking about things to do with the family as it was quite apparent to all of them (especially the wide eyed son) what the town was all about. I think there are many clueless foreigners that get sold a bill of goods. This is more so in eastern Europe than the USA but even here it happens. After a while, word of mouth by the women will put a damper on Eastern European family tourism. I can't say I know if that will apply to Asian cultures.

What were you doing in Jomtien? On vacation? That was a tease - just in case. It did look a bit on the chilly side.
