The Old Bangkok Bangers are a rugby playing and socialising club based in Bangkok. We have 17 nationalities in the team, with quite a few Englishmen, including our Club Captain, Andrew Tatam. Rumour has it that ESPN/Star will be picking up the RWC feed. You can contact them via their website and find out for sure if you wish. Otherwise we are hoping that some of the pubs will be able to get back in contact with the satellite feed that used to be available from the Super Sports channels from South Africa. Alternately it is possible to use a 'sling-box' to get an overseas cable provider's channels fed into Thailand via the net with excellent quality. They don't like it done to commercial establishments though, so that can be contoversial if discovered! The last option is to stream it in via one of the multitude of internet sites. Ther'ye still not the best quality feeds though.

Sounds Good Bob Maybe you could put some promotion on some of the games,to try to attract more fans of rugby in, Im sure few places will show games ,but its other supporters of the game being at the venue showing makes it a good day/night. I will still keep list of fans in Patts who will watch the rugby so we can all meet up for some good drinking and atmosphere. I know its not till sep 9th ,on for 6 weeks ,week ends the best viewing ,so plenty of time to plan some things.

Dental implant with crown seems expensive to me at 48000 bhts I had route canal treatment ,pin fitted and crown made ,cost me less than 20000 bhts It was at a Private Dentist practice where I lived in Khon Kaen ,my dentist is also a teacher at Khon Kaen Uni Dentist Department With all my treatment I did 6 visits to my Dentist So would you say my treatment is same as Dental implant with crown ,if so why is your costs far higher

As I live in Thailand i am looking for the following information, Where in Thailand ,could be Patts /BKK,Chang Mia ,Phucket ,ect be the best sporting bars in Thailand showing the rugby world cup games Also looking for any Rugby supporter could be xpats or ppl on holiday who be watching the games and where. Is there a Branch of any rugby union supporters clubs here in Thailand,as im sure these people will know the best places with a good crowd watching the rugby with plenty of beers. I have looked at many of the games ,which the games start in NZ at 6pm /8pm/9pm So here in Thailand the games will start noon ,2pm/3pm as Thailand is 6 hours behind NZ time. So it looks like its going to be many afternoon sessions on the beer and if good results for your team could be long days and nights ,I hope. I will look at going on holiday for 4/6 weeks, some where in Thailand where I can find a great sporting bar which also have a good crowd in following the rugby .SO WHERE CAN I FIND THIS PLACE ,help wanted please I was thinking maybe BKK may be the best bet ,but may be wrong As I would not want to stop full time in BKK ,i could always travel down every week end from Khon Kaen as its only a 6 hour journey ,stop Fri/Sat/Sun nights then back to Khon Kaen every Mon. Be like going to work every week end haha. Also the games in the afternoon so will not effect any foot ball on ,bet bar owners be happy with this. Maybe we could get a list together who will watch the games ,then we could have a good party atmosphere together

Yes I was this ,its a sad thing but can happen any where in the world. Makes you wonder if men knew a lot of cash in house. Be lucky to get more than 50000 bhts value if i was robbed at my house and half of this is due to lap top. To me this man kept to much money in house ,but it makes it a sad world that we need to think this

I would say be hot about 36 c most days sunny but May/June can have odd thunderstorms ,see many of these strms about 4/5pm but only last 1 hour . About how busy,who cares busy or not you sure have a great time

Well i should be in druken duck on Soi Lk on the Friday 11th March ,bus from khon kaen onto patts ,hope to be in bar about 9pm/9:30pm ,I am stopping in Armageddon I see 16 BMs in town then ,maybe some of use can meet up as I am only in town for 2 nights before going onto Koh Chang. I will be with my Thai Lay and young daughter so I will not be going to any gogos on his trip haha,unless I can talk my lady to go back to room to baby sit .

11th March till 13th March then 4 days in Kho Chang then back to Patts 1 night I may have newbie with me and leave him in Patts when i go to Kho Chang ,so will need a wing man

If you get your bins empty just tip these people sure not cost much. I pay 40 bhts month to empty my bins and come twice a week

I do look forward to a good Saturday night out watching the football ,watch 3 games last night in various of places,some strange results in the football games last night ,what happened to Arsenal and Man United. I watch the first game in Leo Bar ,not many in about 10 ,but atmosphere was good as the bar owner runs a forcast sweep on the scores and makes watching the games more fun. Watch the second game in a place called My Bar This bar must have had near 100 ppl in ,must have been about 40 farang males and the rest thai ladies. was some good lookers as well. Sure some can be BF but sure others are just freelancers looking for some farang company. Last game went to a new Thai place called Vintage Bar,this bar was opened in December ,was very full ,few hundred ppl for sure ,not many farangs most thais .also many groups of Thai ladies having a night out. What I have noticed Khon Kaen City seem to be getting busy week per week and lots of new places being opened. Also in the last year I have noticed many new falangs in town. All I can say Me and My Lady had a great night and the atmoshere in town was very good. Mind you by 3 am in the morning my sight was getting a bit blur ,too many large Leos for sure. Where did you go last night and what was the atmosphere like

Includes every thing ,from living to a good standard for Me,My Lady and young daughter,many holidays around Thailand ,trips back to uk ,child education costs,nights out at week ends ,ect,ect. I do not have car as public transport is ok for me and very cheap. Also I rent a nice house in a nice location in Khon Kaen City. So I have spent 44,693 uk pounds ,thats just under avg of £1500 month ,about 75000 bhts month. dont forget the bht has been up and down since living here ,the highest in this period was about 60 bhts to pound and the lowest iv seen is 45 bhts to the pound. My spend is no suprise to me as I do have a budget of £1500 a month ,I also monitor and manage my budget/cash flow/balance using a simple spread sheet on the PC. My job before I retired was a planning/budget engineer has put me in a good stead to manage my own budget here. The secret of living a good life in LOS whether you have £1000 or £3000 a month ,is keep within your budget then you will not worry too much.Also I have said a few times before have a long term plan ,for a 50 year old man who is retired the plan should not be less than 20 years,also monitor your plan against spend and make ajustments where needed.

The colour scheme was made by me ,land lady said i lived there so you can choose. Was not 650 bhts per person per day as the boss of the painters ,who did all the paint estimating ,instructions to his men and did all the finale touching up takes 50% and other 2 men share the other 50%

I rent the house from a thai lady who live in Australia ,the house is about 8 years old I pay 10000 bhts a month I ask the lady if I could arrange to have house painted as it was started to look a bit tied She says no problem and please arrange payment and do not pay rent for next two months. I agreed ,so both parties happy.

Well I have just had the house repainted . Verdict ,happy with their work and happy with the price . It took 3 men working 4 days to complete ,Men started on the dot at 8am ,took only one break for lunch which lasted 1/2 hour. Very impressed with their work ,the prep work and the painting. For the primer and paint ,which i bought cost 9400 bhts The painters cost was 8000 bhts So the total cost of the job was 17400 bhts which i think is very good. Mind you I did get one quote by one man he wanted 75000 bhts ,think he was taking the piss for sure,or he quoted a high price as he did not want the job. Now the men who did paint my house are very happy because there is 3 others who live on my estate now wants these men to paint they houses now

Thats correct 3 years and still a Pattaya virgin. He has lived 50% time in Khon Kaen ,which he loves same as me ,at moment living down south some where I have never heard of ,and tells me this place is so boring. Of course he is knows plenty areas of LOS ,Khon Kaen ,other cities in Issan,Chang Mia,Phuket,Hua Hin ,Koh Sumuia ,ect,ect But I have told him Pattaya is a city not the same as any others I have found where good times are every where . I have told him the basics ,like not falling in love haha not BF where he is going to stay. Pay no more than 1000 bhts for LT in beer bars ,as many to choose from. Also no more than 1500 bhts for LT in hostess and go go places ,as he also have many places he can go. He does know the ropes very well ,its a wingman who can show him the places to go for fun times ,meet the ladies and I hope he can also find some good mates ,like I did when I first came to Pattaya. I do know he would also do same for others who want to come visit khon kaen ,as I do for many of my good friends. If he finds the fun and im sure he will ,this trip to Pattaya will not be his last haha
