Well Im in town from friday 11th march ,with my TL ,my young thai daughter also one of my best friends from Khon Kaen. As this is going to be my family holiday with my TL and her daughter we are only stopping in Pattaya for 2 nights before going to Kho Chang for 4 nights.Then back to Patts for 1 night. I have talked my mate as going away to Patts at the same time ,he has had a bit of shit from a woman,now going to lead a single life I think. He has lived in Thailand for 3 years but never been to Pattaya ,so i think he will be in for a good time. I remember too well my first time to Patts ,most newbies do. I will try to introduce him to my mates ,but only have 2 nights , He will stop in Patts alone when I go to Kho Chang ,so who is in town and be a good wise wingman to one of my best friends in Thailand He is a great guy and is looking forward to some good fun now. Im sure I know one man my friend bobby ,green malik will look after him haha See you all soon

This is a great price ,same house in Khon Kaen would be about 2.5 million, Im sure this will sell soon ,makes me wonder is there some problems with this house ,selling at this price

Since loading my new AVG 2011 ,my internet kept turning off automatic when I had viewed a few sites,this was pissing me off ,pc ok.Never had this problem with the older version of AVG Did a check today on my internet options,search defaults and found my default was now set to AVG secure search which replaced my google default. I have now changed back to google as my default and all seem ok so far ,but I will monitor situation

You did remove your other anti virus software before loading the other virus software. As you may be aware that these software do not work together and cause proble with your PC and stopping virus getting through. Today It took me 2 hours to install the new AVG 2011 anti virus software. I still had files of the old AVG anti virus software on which I could not find . Then I found a AVG software which did remove all the files. Now all is ok

Yes I do love my life here living in Thailand so much and do feel I am loved so much by My Thai Lady and daughter. As it is Kings Birthday Sunday ,its also fathers day. A gift of a hand made fathers day card was given to me by my loving step daughter ,this will be another treasure moment living here in Thailand. Yes I do think I am very lucky finding these 2 people in my new life here in Thailand . Wishing everybody else a very happy fathers day for this Sunday and hope your family bring you much happiness

Strange about My Bar ,I have not picked this up here in Khon Kaen , I thought Tommy was doing a good job at his new bar. Duncan at Leo bar seems to be doing ok now ,he does get a good footbal crowd in on Saturdays now. He says he might change his 32" TV to a 42" ,maybe chance to Buy My Bar TV lol

I love this place for a relaxing holiday destination with my family ,think I would go if I was looking for good time ladies. Lot of places close about midnight ,but there is a couple of cluster areas where BF bars can be found and I think these keep open later. If you think there is many Russians on holiday in Patts ,Many in Ko Chang I am going with my family for 5 days in April . If you are going alone catch the mini bus ,pick up at hotel and take you to hotel in Ko Chang. , I was qouted 3500 bhts for 2 Adults and 1 child ,return trip .So I will catch Taxi ,for about 4000 bhts same trip. Before I have booked my mini bus trip at travel agency opp the Metro Appartments on Soi Lk ,guy speaks very good english and very helpful.

I do not know for sure 20000 bhts month rent just hear say ,anybody interested need to check this out with owner, But I do know bar is for sale for 250,000 bhts as there is wall notice put up in bar saying this

Looks like the rest of LOS ,few bars going for sale in Khon Kaen I just was in one of my locals Rockies yesteraday afternoon talking to the owner Terry , He tells me he is selling bar for 250000 bhts ,does not seem expensive to me to anybody who has a iching to open a farang bar in LOS. Not sure what month rent is for the place ,may be 20000 bhts month ,I think this is due to location which is in the city centre opposite the Pulman Hotel Terry is a great guy but just wants out at the moment in the bar game. At the moment bar has couple TV to watch the sport. Good indoors and outdoor seating areas . Pool Table Bar has a back small Kitchen area ,where at the moment Falang food is served. I have been told there is a room upstairs ,but I have never seen. I have not invovled in any of this sale ,or do not know anything about business profit/loss Im just passing information on what I saw yesterday OPPS Martin I think I have posted in wrong section ,should it be in The Market

No this is Armageddon ,which I stayed 2 weeks ago ,cost little more than I normal pay but great rooms mine was a larger room at 1200 bhts night peak season

On the Nakonchai air yes On the others I would not class as stewardess,but employees just handing out the food and drinks and checking your tickets

The 407 bus service and Chan tour bus company have their own bus station pick up at Pattaya Klang area Best way to find ask a moto taxi or a Issan Bar lady ,will sure know. I know the day staff at Metro appartments on soi LK know ,as these ladies have booked my seats before. Sorry I have lost telephone numbers of these companies. Unsure if a web site. Book about 3 days before travel as downstair seating is 3 across 2 together and 1 single seat Total seat downstairs ,only 7 Upstair seating is 4 across ,so less room ,but I still think ok but always try to get downstairs. Yes the downstair seating are very comfotable ,and seats recline very much ,also chair has massage settings, I did not need this as I had Lin with Me haha. Also food and drinks provided ,but I always take a couple of farang sandwiches. Also their is a 20 minute snack/smoke break just before getting into Korrat Buses come from Rayong ,then Pattaya ,Korrat ,Khon Kaen ,Undon Thani then I think Nong Kai ,you to check this.

I must say Nakhonchai air bus company ,the first class service which is higher standard than the Nakhonchai air VIP gold service ,but can only catch from BKK if I want to go to Khon Kaen The first class service which I think only run twice a day ,I think about 11am and about 11pm is the best buses I have every used in Thailand ,single decker bus ,but only 3 seats across ,great reclining seats,own tv and movie channels ,good food and service staff and time takes 6 hours from BKK to Khon Kaen,but if in Pattaya it would take you 2/3 hours by taxi to get to their BKK bus station. I do wish this company did have route from Khon Kaen to Pattaya as I would use all the time. Their VIP gold class are also great buses but have less room as there are 4 seats across. These buses run every hour from BKK up till about 11pm at night. Please note I have used the first class but beaware these seat can be booked up very fast ,so best to book at least 2 weeks advance.

Yes toilets downstairs ,but may find floor a little wet so wear your shoes haha Also if going to Khon Kaen a rest stop for about 20 minutes just outside Korrat ,thats about 4 hours travel before this stop. Also Thai food and drinks given ,mind you I always take a couple of farang samdwiches with me.

Yes both 407 service and Chan Tours dowstairs VIP seating is 3 across ,2 seats together and 1 single. ONLY 7 seats available downstairs Please note if you book VIP upstairs 100 bhts cheaper but 4 seats across ,go for downstair seating all the time ,so book in advance as these seats do get booked up. 3 days advance should be ok.

I have created this topic as I have read many postings wanting to Know about how to travel from Pattaya to Issan ,the bus or to Fly. Well I have done both. But for me I would use the bus all the time as the journey seems shorter by the bus as I can sleep 4 hours at least using the bus service. The pics shown is the 407 bus service from Pattaya to Issan Khon Kaen ,does go to other cities. The only problem is that I have found the 407 service takes 1 hour longer than Chan Tours due to the route it takes. The Chan Tours VIP seats are also very good . Always book advance so you can book the downstairs seating area. The cost is about 500 bhts one way. Journey time is from about 8/9 hours ,buses about 10am and a evening service ,unsure of time
