Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I used to stay at the Haven and each time I stayed there were problems. Guess I was a sucker for punishment. The last time I stayed there I have water pressure issues in my room. I reported the problem but the owner just shrugged and did not do anything about it. The owner and his wife truly represent Basil Fawlty from the TV series. Could not care less about their customers. My advice - stay at another hotel. The only plus for this hotel is its location. Central and away from all the noise.

I also stayed at this hotel and would highly recommend it. I reserved a superior room and was quite satisfied with it. Best part of the location is the complete lack of street noise in the mornings. Previously I used to stay at Secrets but the constant noise from the motorbikes was a distraction, to say the least.

I used to stay at this dump previously. The last time I stayed there my room had no water pressure at all. The first night I had to "shower" under a trickle. The next day they moved me to another room which smelt musty, had no hot water and also hardly any water pressure. Fortunately the Dynasty Inn had a room available so I checked out early from the Haven and spent the rest of my stay at there. Did not have to pay the rip off surcharge for Xmas and New Years Eve. Try asking the owner or his wife to fix these problems - they will basically shrug their shoulders and ignore you. It's like s

haven hotel soi 13...
kingfisher replied to glassdude007's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
The Haven is a dump! Do not bother staying there. The web site looks great but the service is awful and the staff think that they are doing you a huge favor by letting you stay there. Try having a shower where there is no water pressure and tell the staff about it. They will just shrug it off like it is not a problem. It used to be a good hotel but not anymore. -
I stayed there a few years ago - I found the room to be very basic and even though they claim to have king-sized beds on their web site, it's more like a double. I would not recommend it - try the Sandy Springs hotel just up the road.

I have heard that you have to pay for your stay up front when you check-in. The rates during the peak season are not exactly competitive either. Maybe the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13 provides better value?

Hi Rightsaid I was under the impression that Singha Light/Gold is no longer available. Is Singha Light now available? Thanks -
Hi All. I am looking for a hotel that has king beds. I did a search of this web site and found that the Areca Lodge has king beds. Anyone know of other hotels that have king beds? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Haven Hotel Soi 13 Been there lately?
kingfisher replied to ghowwerd's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
This used to be my favourite hotel in Pattaya however they have raised their prices during the peak period to an unacceptable level. This year they are charging 1200 Baht/night during December, with the price being 2500Baht on Christmas eve and 2000 Baht on New Year's eve. Last year they charged 1000 Baht/night and before that it was 800 Baht/night regardless of season. They have been trying to improve their rooms - newer aircons and replacing the carpets with tiles, but everytime I stayed there there was always a problem. Either the TV was not working or the water pressure was not correc -
Hi Folks. Does anybody know if the new hotel that the owner of Tims Beer Bar was building is ready? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
