  11. safc I stayed at Areca last year and was there for nearly a month and I think I got up and ate breakfast about 3-4 times as I just couldn't get up early after going to sleep late after partying....These days I don't look at hotels that offer breakfast as I hardly get up but I am thinking of changing my ways this trip and enjoying the mornings... I must say the breakfast is ok at Areca and does the job to energise the body until the afternoon. Don't worry if you miss breakfast, you can get it anywhere close to hotel anytime. Enjoy ur trip Thank-you
  12. Hello stephentaylor This is not a new establishment as its been there a few years now. It has a small restaurant dowstairs and rooms upstairs. I eaten there before and food ok but nothing special but I have never stayed at their rooms upstairs. I didn't like the idea of walking through the restaurant to get to the room upstairs if you have girl with you I know they keep the rooms very clean as I went upstairs once to give an inspection to a the room and the resturant is always kept clean aswell. Thank you - Angelo02
  13. Hello Beach Boy Where is your location? I usually stay around the soi buakaow area and would like to pop in and taste your menu. Thanx - Angelo02

  17. theuknaughtyboy Enjoyed my time at the Areca as it's a clean, comfortable and central hotel which you will aswell.....but there is a stretch of bars as you head towards second road where most of the girls will comment loudly as you walk past daily and any new gf you may have with you...be warned Most staff are great usually but some reception staff give you the eyes when bring your bf for the day/night back .....Besides these small obstacles I recommend the hotel. Enjoy your stay...
  18. Ric Thanx for the info on Woraburi that there is no guest fee. I will check out this hotel when I get to BKK...hope you enjoy ur trip in March. Thanx once again

  20. Hello Thanx for the replies to my questions as the information has been most valueable. I have emailed the hotels and awaiting replies from them on what price they offer for a monthly stay. If they don't offer a huge disc then I will book 1-2 nights then once in Pattaya shop around. Thanx once again for the replies, most appreciated and can't wait to enjoy my vacation in Pattaya
  21. Hello Everyone I am planning to stay one month in Pattaya possibly in March and have decided to stay at a hotel rather then a condo. I am looking to stay at a standard room at possibly either Dynasty Inn, Flipper House, Lek Hotel or Areca. I know that some hotels offer discounts for monthly stays and was wondering if anyone has stayed a month at either of these hotels and how much did you pay? Do you book directly with the hotel to obtain the monthly rate?....Are u able to negotiate on monthly rates at hotels in Pattaya or is it a set rate at most hotels? I have searched this forum for answers regarding monthly rates but couldn't find info that I needed. Any information would be appreciated as I'm bit confused at the moment..... Thanx in advance everyone
