About the wifi in the room - and that matters to me much more than their computers - I infer from your comment that the signal is ok most of the time. The arabs' and russians' behaviour as you describe it was obviously unpleasant but I daresay one might run into such elsewhere too - unless this place is a particular favourite of these nationals. I shall give the place a try.

As my post did mention, the useful feedback would be from those who knew of the hotel from personal experience or from friends.

i like the look of this place online but before i book wanted to have feedback from someone who knows it as to whether or not it is guest friendly - also if it's wifi in room has an ok connexion.

Thanks for the replies. I had in mind dentures - full set upper and semi-full set lower. Presumably a week to 10 days is doable for this. I am aware of the high reputation that Dr Aree enjoys among Pattaya expatriates, but can anyone speak up for her work on specifically this sort of work? (That's why I asked for first- or maybe second-hand experience.) I also mentioned BKK on the premise that the best dentists will probably be in that richer market. Would have been very willing to go there if the right dentist was strongly recommended. A day trip there would be an enjoyable diversion - when out of the dentist's chair. I am intrigued by Packhike's claims - that implants are only a little more expensive, that this new and acceptable technique allows a single day complete operation and that this is all done competently in Pattaya. Again does he or anyone else have specific experience of this? With a name-able dentist? Thanks for the help. I'm trying to combine a chore with pleasure in planning a PTT/BKK trip in May.

Can anyone recommend from first- or at least second-hand knowledge a top notch dentist for having false teeth made - top notch functionally and cosmetically - and with adequate english? Price is not relevant. But he/she should be able to work quickly and do the whole thing in a week or so? Alternatively I don't mind Bangkok - can make the trips from Patt for the appointments - if anyone will vouch for such a dentist there. Many thanks

There's a mention of a back entrance to the hotel. But do you then go through the bar/restaurant/or other public area to get to your room?

Although I asked this on a hotels with wifi thread, can i ask here too about recommendation of hotel with wifi and either shower above bath tub or shower compartment. Within 1000 baht (now, low season) and not east of 3rd road. re my previous post, I should have said free wifi.

My most important criteria for a hotel room 1) free wifi in room and 2) a shower in the bath or behind a door etc so as to keep the rest of the bathroom floor dry 3) location not east of 3rd road Can anyone suggest a smaller list which would satisfy these fetishes? But not above 1000 baht (low season rate). Appreciate it.

Do they have a website? Was wondering if the room pics shown over captions were accurately citing the room for the particular price. You say no wifi, but is there a connection for a laptop and do they charge for it?

What's their luggage arrangement? I'm going to have a two fairly big bags - don't ask why the hell, I have to and can't go into that now. If that isn't going to be problem I'll try them.

I'm thinking about it for a 10 day stay next month. I sometimes have problems with wifi in rooms. Anyone recommend a superior room that they've tried with a strong signal; or with a direct connexion to their router? I also don't want a room with no view - ie a view of a wall or something similar. I've found the substance and tone of posts by cerberus (even allowing for the vested interest) and evil penevil to be far more useful, courteous and readable than the invective that detractors choose to throw around. I think the answer to all the criticism that these clubs state up front their pricing policy is sufficient. The simple fact is that a stunner at a gogo for a night will cost no less than 3000 all-in once you add up the bar fine, drinks and tip - with no guarantee of satisfaction or even an above average performance, and will need some time devoted to the 'hunt'. On these counts eden/hell win - no argument. The only point well made against the clubs is their 20k vip membership for 10 ladies, ie 2k each - ie more than the ordinary rate. The drinks discount and the 'precedence' is not a clear answer to that. The other point of comparing prices /services at soi6 & welkomm is arguable - but is the standard of girls and performance always comparable? All in all I believe that the clubs seem worth it. For the moment eden seems preferable because it has many more girls to choose from.
