  3. Kjvegas- Also check out http://www.nwa.com I just got a flight outta vegas for $712 that incls tax and everything. oh yeah my departure date is Aug 22 back Aug 31st or later :) , I checked July dates and they were the same price. OnMyWay- I saw on another board that Thai Air is offering a BKK-LAX - BKK special for 28,000 baht.

  7. Guys, Just a little FYI. if you are worried about losing your ATM card and people getting a hold of your information you can just ask your bank (I use Bank of America) for a temporary debit card. It's a card with no info on it I.e. your name or account number. And it will only work for 30 days. It's free works in all ATM's with thin the respective network. I like using it because that enables me to keep my main cards in a safety deposit box. As far as accessing ATMS I always use the ones in Royal Garden Mall and have yet to have a problem with taking out 20k baht. Now if
  8. I'm worried about people stealing my stuff. Just because a person is now employed by the US Government doesn't mean they're less likely to steal from you. I'll continue to carry my really valuable items on with me. FYI I found this link on another site this is the TSA site It has all the new regulations on it. http://129.33.119.130/public/theme_home1.jsp
  9. for your price range check out the rooms above some of the beer bars and restaurants on 2nd road. Start out on Soi 12 on up going towards Soi 8. Also there's a beer bar on Soi 7 right behind the 7 11 on 2nd road. I checked out there rooms think they wanted 340 a night. Quite, secure , Cable TV , clean your room everyday. When I visited seemed to be a lot of girls that stayed there 3-4 to a room . A nice little added bonus if you. ;D
  10. valentinoxxx, Yes it took me awhile to figure it out . If you go to the site you see that there's a little circle on the top right hand corner . Well you click that and it changes the site too either English or Thai. I guess that made since to the designer versus the standard CLICK HERE. ??? ;D I will try Dprompt when I go back it sounds like it might be a winner I like the 6 sec billing after the first min..I could save a couple bucks that way (last trip I spent 4300 baht in cards :'( ) But I did make a couple of international calls. I have a couple questions for you tough since
  11. I just got back from Thailand a week ago and I used AIS (one 2 call) system. Let me clear up a few things the English version of there site is here http://www.one-2-call.com/One2Call/th/scri...lang=eng&menu=2 (that's the starter kit page) and there card system goes like this 300 baht for 30 days 500baht for 80 days and 80 baht for 100 days . My starter kit cost me a total of 800 baht and included 500 baht worth of calls. The other good thing I liked about AIS and they all might do this is you can buy there prepaid phone cards at any 7-11. Which is a good thing if you run out of minut
  12. LOL slow down now, don't brand me a hit and run poster. Some people don't live on Message boads Anyways thank you to all for your info. That's one of the reasons I love the internet complete stranges helping each other. I ended up getting my phone unlocked in the states and it was a good thing i did because it's so new that i can't find anything for it in Pattaya. Case, Battery , Etc. Everyone loves it but there's nothin for it. I did go to Big C to get my starter kit tough . And my phone works. Re: Place to make call to the sates.... I can make calls to the states from my mobi
  13. I hope someone will be able to answer my question here as I see lots of good information and this is one of the few borads that i visit regularly. I have a Sony-Ericsson T68. The only problem is the SIM code is locked for AT&T in the USA only. I know that I can get my phone unlocked at MBK. Can someone please tell me if they know of a place that can perform the same service for me in Pattaya. Also I plan on using the 1 2 call pre paid cards if that makes any difference. My second question is I need to make a important call to the US while I'm over there can anyone recommend a qu
