What you have to think of when it comes to living in Patts is that ITS NOT THE SAME AS ON HOLIDAY. After a while the novelty of great big F*$k off hangovers and yes, even the girls does, wain a little bit. When on holiday you are out on the lash every night taking 2+ girls a day some days but when you live here and ,especially if like myself, i earn THAI money you simply do not have those options unless you want to be back in shitey blighty with the rain and the fat women in record time. yes there is mate, well from Suvarnabhumi to DM anyway. In arrivals you must go downstairs and there is a shuttle service there. Only problem is that when i did it the bus wasnt too regular so you may be better off getting a taxi.

Trust me mate-you dont wanna go overland,those cambodian roads are not the best. Best way is to fly into Phnom Penh( by air asia) then get a bus. Otherwise its a long,long,long way on a hot,hot,hot dusty road!

There is a Pattaya datrs league here. One venue i know of is a small bar on soi post office (13/2) called The Londoner-not a great bar but does have a board!!!

Ok, went to Mantra last night-what an experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Without doubt THE restaurant in Patts. Its atmospheric,modern,stylish and service is 2nd to none! Its actaully quite reasonable for most dishes but we went for the seafood grill for 2 at 3500 baht. A whole lobster,rock lobsters,king prawns and the biggest scallops ive ever seen in my life!!!!!!!!!! Drinks arent cheap but red wine top notch. Grade A+

anyone been to mantra yet?? looks like a good place for a special occasion but need someone who has been there n dunnit to let me know!
