  1. For a small b/f I thought Tea/Coffee up from Friendship on Pattaya Tai was good at 89bt. For something a bit more substancial, Pineapple across from Martin Place on Soi Baukhauw at 110bt.
  2. I thimk its a great place to visit. You will probably need to rent a m/bike if you want to get round easily, make sure its got a bit of poke and good brakes, you'll see what i mean. The other option is the baht bus at 30bt a pop. The only problem i have had is when using a minibus to get there and back. My last trip we picked up a couple of Russian guys (fact) one of whom who had just spent 26 hours getting his arm tattoed, and his brother who immediately set about pissing everybody off, and i mean they really put some effort into it. I wont recount the whole trip, but th
  3. Just down from tutcom, pass day/night same side. Has opticians on the right, just on the bend. Walk down this soi and on the right look for the name Tom. I always check for new blade and shave 80bt.
  4. Going out a couple of days earlier. Am guessing if its a fairly full flight they will not want to pull it. Next stop Eva's seat plan page, thanks. brakes.
  5. Have booked Eva late November until mid December today £505. Same flight was £570 yesterday, and £520 previously. Anybody have any new info on them pulling flights? brakes.
  6. Definitely a man of many talents. Juggling right up there at the top.
  7. And so it should, works fine everywhere else. But as Taltos said, it just aint the same in Mumbai.
  8. Go for the cheapest flight. One hour or two hours, you will be lucky if your baggage makes it. I managed to stay out of the dark. To the OP this is good advice. If you are transferring through Mumbai, you will have to deal with long delays to clear security.
  9. I paid £50 more to go direct, with Eva rather than indirect. Jet are ok, but transiting Mumbai can be tricky.
  10. Booked LHR late feb to mid march, with Eva £460, through WestEast last week.
  11. I understand what you are saying, at my home field, no choice, crosswind mandatory. But the gap between an experienced Privte Pilot, and an experienced Commercial Pilot IMO, is considerable.
  12. I have flown both. If you want the early flight , go with Thai. If your looking at the late flight, go with Eva.
  13. Its a nice pool too. Especially late in the evening.
  14. We were all white then, so no harm done. WTF happened next?
