That's right Cardiff was not one of the richest places in the UK at the time with the coal industry at full pelt and the first million pound cheque signed in the coal exchange. We were all backwards like the English.

I would be very wary of arranging meeting people from a Gulf Air flight as they have a habit of delaying your plane for hours without telling you.

There is a little Russian place up that road opposite soi 1 on 2nd road. I went there with my girl one time and had a very nice meal. We started off with a Prawn cocktail on cabbage base without the Prawns. The main course was beetroot on a cabbage base and coarse dry bread made of flour. Dessert was cabbage and ice cream although they did not have any ice cream left. All this was washed down by lashings of cabbage water. Altogether a great night out.
