I normally always stay at the Diamond Beach Hotel. Ive stayed there about 5 times and been very happy with it. Last October I came out with a friend of mine and we stayed at the Diamond beach and had a nice sea view room each for 1000 baht a night. In June I came out again for 2 weeks. I called the hotel a few weeks before flying out and was told I could have the same nice sea view room. On arrival, I was told that all the sea view rooms (which were the nicer ones in the hotel) were being renovated. I settled for one of the smaller rooms.
