Andy, There is Flipper House on Soi 7 and Flipper Lodge on Soi 8. Two different properties. You'll have no problem at all with your $20-$40 range. Flipper Lodge usually 800-1050 bath. 42 baht to the US $ right now. So, just about $20. I stayed at Flipper Lodge on Soi 7 and the location is great! Guest Friendly??? Let's just say that if you don't bring a girl back they wonder about you! ;D When will you be in Pattaya? Maybe we can meet for a beer or three. You will have a great time...enjoy and happy hunting! Hello, I'm trying to plan a trip back to LOS for May and although I hate flying coach I'm looking for the very cheapest airfare. Today on priceline.com I got an offer from them for $544.15 round trip tax included from Los Angeles to BKK. They do not say which airline and my concern is that I get China Air which i simply don't want. Anyone had experience on this route with Priceline.com? What airline did you get? Anyone know of a better deal? Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated... Thanks, Mark

I just got back from 3 weeks in LOS and wanted to get a special thanks out to Ben, Wee and the girls at FLB! It was my first trip in and I was able to see FLB a couple nights. I met Wee right away and was greeted by all the friendly girls as well. I later met Ben & what a great group that makes you feel welcome and easy to have fun. The girls laughed, joked and played games which made for a fun night. Thanks Again!!! Mark

Hello, I'm a newbie making my first trip to Pattaya and will arrive January 18th. I asked almost the same question you did when I was shopping for hotels. It is peak season in Pattaya in January and I was told the reservation is a must. Hotels are booking up quick and the town will be busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger! ;D I paid 900 baht/night for Flipper Lodge. So, take it for what it's worth but I hope that helps.
