  1. Yeah, the oriental is stuffed full of whoremongers like us! Besides their stellar location on the Chao Phraya right next to all the action, they're set up and more than accomodating! I like their fishbowl of naked BG's next to the harp playerin the lobby. A TON of Oriental reviews in the hotel section on this board. On a serious note, I'm at Nana now and not having any problems at all. The pool is also done and it's on the 3rd floor. There is some finishing of it occuring at the front of the hotel. The only pounding or "construction" I hear is of human nature in the rooms. Cheers, M
  2. Jimmy, Get out the Windex and clean off your eyeglasses...don't want to hear anymore about you doing boys (on accident!). Give 'em hell! Cheers, Mark
  3. Little Dick, I mean Dick Skinner hit it dead on with his post. When a merchant signs a merchant agreement there is an entire clause that they are not allowed to charge "minimums" or "service charges." They are in violation of their agreement. I let them charge it, have the merchant detail it as "credit card service fee" on the receipt and then mail it directly to my credit card company and all the funds are always credited back to me. Cheers, Mark
  4. Hello, Anyone aware of any sites that provide deals on trips starting in Bangkok roundtrip to the states? Thanks in advance for your help! Mark
  5. Hello, I'm in BKK now and if anyone is interested in a trip to Phnom Penh (SP?) let me know and maybe we can meet up. Cheers, Mark
  6. Stiffler, What type of particualr pics are you looking for? I'm at the hotel now and might be able to sneak a few for you. By the way, another good stay here. Mark
  7. Vox- Good candid review. As for Jimmybb....I think the postop boys he'll take back to the room will be so damn happy to get out of the bar that he'll not get a single complaint! Cheers, Mark 8 days and wheels up!
  8. I've got to agree with Roland on this one...when it comes to wiring money for a $10 a night hotel I think it's a rediculous way to do business. Do they also have covered wagon parking? ;D Cheers, Mark
  9. Some of the better qualify girls that are not in the scene at all are also on ICQ chat. Might want to give it a shot. Cheers, Mark
  10. I took the 1st class sleeper car in september. I took the overnight one and unfortunately did not see much of the countryside as it was dark outside. But, the first class sleeper was large enough for me to spend most of the night sportfucking! ;D When you board, you'll get a menu and you can order food for dinner and for breakfast the next morning. DON'T order the breakfast...it was downright horrible! The dinner was just OK. Be sure to let them know to not disturb you unless you want it. Otherwise, they'll be knocking on your door every 10 minutes for one thing or another. Not
  11. Jim, I'm as happy as you are...I could just shit myself. Now, don't forget your trip report! Cheers, Mark
  12. In september I went with another boardie to get a look at these rooms at the Dynasty and Iw as staying at the Eastiny Place at the time. I walked away from the Dynasty with a few comments... 1. Rooms were MUCH darker than the Eastiny Place 2. MUCH smaller rooms 3. Woodgrain paneling on the walls? Was this from the 1950's design? 4. Price was 290 baht more than eastiny and I could not figure out why. I did do a review on the Eastiny that included pics..take a look and compare. My 2 baht worth, Mark
  13. Ready- Can you please let us know what the times are for the KU flights? I checked on this in September and I'f I recall the flight times were wierd. I opted to pay $30 more and fly Thai Airlines and the times were better for me. Cheers, Mark
  14. Have you considered a bar, fruit cart or roving photographers that shove cameras into your face?? Can't ever have enough of those!!! Cheers, Mark
  15. Patfan, I prefer Eastiny Place because i think the rooms are cleaner and Eastiny Place is the one closer to 2nd road although they are only 50 meters from each other. I used to stay at the Flipper..no more now that I've found Eastiny. The shower technician operates daily in various rooms I'm quite certain. As always, it's "up to you". ;D Cheers, Mark
  16. SoCalGuy, I did use them. Be aware, access to the box ends at 8 or 9PM and begins at 7.30AM. So, if you have a ride to the airport that leaves before 7.30am, you need to clear your box the night before. Cheers, Mark PS. I'm in Long Beach, maybe we are neighbors?
  17. As of two weeks ago here's the latest update on the best Kebob's in Pattaya: 1- Soi 8 lady is hit and miss at best. She's there one night in from of the Sunshine and gone the next. SFDude and I were in search of her one night and she was gone. ( i think she missed out on a ST with SFDUDE and a Kebob purchase from me!) 2- The kebobs @ 2nd road truly are the best. When leaving FLB turn left and go to the Lucky Star bar and cut thru the small soi that leads to 2nd road. Right at the corner there is a guy on the left with a cart that makes excellent kebobs @ 50 baht! (Emil, these are the o
  18. For anyone that's flown the LA to Philippines route I'm wondering if you can give me an idea of the average airfare you've paid (total including taxes) and if the prices are typically higher or lower in January. Thanks in advance for your help! Cheers, Mark
  19. Greg, Understandably so, usually you didn't see me finger-banging myself while covered in a bottle of Mr. Bubble! Hope all is well and I'm already planning my next trip. Cheers, Mark
  20. Hello, A lot of questions about Eastiny Place on Soi 8 so I thought I would post some pics. I just checked out on November 10th and I would stay here again. It's a good clean hotel in the heart of Soi 8 and I paid 750 baht a night. In the past 3 months I've probably spent 45 days in Eastiny Place. IMHO it's a great value for the money. Here's the pics for you to judge for yourself. As I understand it the rooms are non-smoking and the hotel provides a table and bench outside the elevator on each floor as a "smoking area". I like outside corridors like these. The tile
  21. Tilacno1, That is true...the rooms are non-Smoking and they allow a smoking area with a bench and table outside the elevator on each floor. I've got a pic of it also and I'll do a post soon. Cheers, Mark
  22. Traveler, I just checked out two days ago and I would highly recommend it. I like the location on Soi 8 and the rooms are CLEAN. I paid 750 baht/night and the air con was COLD, rooms have recently been remodeled with nice white tiled floors and baths. Bed is BIG and plenty of space in the room. I get the rooms ont he 4th floor as they have direct access to the pool from the 4th. There are two towers each with 7 floors and the pool is in the middle. I've only stayed in the "A" tower on the 4th floor and can vouch that those rooms are sufficient. I looked at the new Dynasty rooms and th
  23. I looked 4 days ago at the rooms in the Dynasty on Soi 13. IMHO they were dark and small. The two rooms I saw were priced at 990 and 1200 baht and did not even compare to the Eastiny Place room I was staying in for 750 baht. Eastiny Place rooms are much better and bigger than those at the new Dynasty. I'll be doing a post on Eastiny Place with pics soon. Cheers, Mark
  24. Hello, You'll be there in January and I'm not sure that leaves you a LOT of room for negotiations during high season. I stayed last janaury and got 850 for a "seaview" room. Be aware....make sure your seaview room is above the 4th floor or you will only see the wall of the building next to you. Mark
  25. Hello- This may not be quite the "quality" you are looking for but the Pig & Whistle has a back entrance off the small street that runs between Soi 7 and Soi 8. It's descreet and the guest can come and go as they please with no reception desk. I don't believe they have a pool though. Mark
