My girlfriend got a few things already from them. A deck chair, some lunch bags, etc..

I stayed in Tim Boutique before, its a great hotel in a quiet soi. I know it is joiner friendly but not sure for more then one girl. Page 10 is newer and have only heard good things about it but haven't stayed there personally.

Sounds like your cashier might have been in on it.

It is NOT guest friendly. Many reports of people being charged 1000 baht joiner fees if the staff see you with a girl. If you want to bring one to your room before Central Festival closes (11PM) there is a "secret passageway" there that can lead to your room without any staff seeing you.
