  1. Not sure, but i've never had more than 2000 in my Kasikorn, never a bother. I have also found that when i log on for Kasikorn Internet Banking (just for a look, not to do anything) then i get regular emailed 'offers' from Kasikorn, CC's ect. So i think if you log on every now and again, it pretty much keeps it open. Personally, i'm bringing Sterling next month, then putting it into my Kasikorn A/C as and when i need/think i'm getting the best rate.
  2. Just make sure it's a new blade everytime. Hep C exploded in Cairo, Egypt a while ago. It was put down to them using the same blades in barber/shaving shops
  3. Is the Bar still owned/run by a guy from Northern Ireland?
  4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-11080471 Got a life sentence.
  5. I'm flying out on Tues 26th Oct from Heathrow. Just checked the site myself, yea no Monday flights alright. Was hoping for a half empty sleep on a few seats flight out, be packed now But at least it's going.....they're gonna lose a lot of business like this. I always book EVA, but will think twice after all these cancellations.

  7. No, 30 day stamp in Passport is all you need with Kasikorn. To be honest, i don't even remember them looking at the Stamp, just took my personal details from the Passport.
  8. I use the one in Soi Bauhkao, up by RCON, but that's cos I'm usually about there anyway. Don't think it matters which branch to open an A/C. Mabay try the one by Tuk Com, big and easy to find. There's not a withdrawal charge using a Kasikorn card that i'm aware of, only a foreign ATM card,if that's what you mean. Although yes i have heard that in different Provinces they do charge, although not sure of the boundaries or how much as i've always used Nationwide before. I'd be interested to hear the answer to that myself as i'll be putting cash in my Kasikorn and using their card from now on.
  9. In my experience, it's very, very easy to open a kasikorn A/C. No difficulty, no Visa, no problem, 10/15 mins you've got your book, card, go outside and change your PIN. Only ever had a yearly, not monthly (TRN, that's what it says on my book) charge of 200, but then it's never been below 1000. I also get interest paid twice yearly. I next arrive end of Oct, so that'll be the last time i use my Nationwide Debit (except for an emergency), then it'll be cash from the safe into my Kasikorn A/C as and when i need it/think it's a good exchange rate on that day. Have helped a few people
  10. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/savings-and-b...mp;in_page_id=7 Yep, just found it. I arrive 27th Oct, just before the deadline. I have a Kasikron A/C anyway, but don't like having a lot of cash about me, it's still cheaper than any other card and you can get free Travel Insurance if there's £750pm minimum going into your A/C, but think it'll be cash into my Kasikorn A/C after my next trip.
  11. http://www.nationwide.co.uk/current_accoun...ransactions.htm I'd like to know as well, as, as far as i know and as it says on the website, it's still 1% and no fixed charge
  12. Once you try to book, the price is £489. Still not too bad....i got mine for £454 for late Oct, but booked about a month ago with Southall
  13. Yea, the food's not great either, but each to their own, it doesn't really bother me. I get onboard, read a bit get the first meal, then read a bit more, drop 2 sleepers, and as if by magic i'm arriving at Krung Thep. The price with EVA for a direct flight is sound for me.
  14. Always use them myself, never had any bother before...........
  15. Great price Although it does say 2009, hope it's typo
  16. Not from London they're not. I'm (hoping) to fly end of Oct, booked already for £454 Return, which is pretty much the same as i got 3 or 4 years ago. Also, my last 2 flights have been £430 and £419 (my cheapest ever direct flight) on Nov of last year, and April this year. Seems they flights are only cancelled untill August, so far.....
  17. This is happening quite a bit at the moment. No Tues or Thurs flights in June, no Wed flighs in July, flights also cancelled in August. Not sure why this is, although the 2 main reasons being talked about are flights only half full, so a costcutting measure, or because EVA have a lack of planes at the moment due to a big upsurge in China-Taipei route which they need planes for, and a hold-up cos of a seating issue in new planes being delivered. I'm surprised this thread hasn't had more interest, as i know EVA are quite popular. I always use them, but will think twice if this is anything mo
  18. Southall or ebookers are both under £500 for EVA Nov from Heathrow, booked my brother last week.
  19. Cattle Class for me, just get the first meal, not that nice but i don't care, read a bit, drop a couple of Xanax and as if by magic we're arriving at Swampy....simples...
  20. Lots and lots of Army in and around the Airport. The only way any group is going to take over the Airport again, is if the Army lets them.... Pattaya is quiet, be even more quiet in June, wouldn't worry at all.
  21. I watched that myself, he then proceeded to take the guys shoes off on throw them down Soi B Again, as the poster as already said, that's no reflection on the bar, it's also the only time i've seen any bother at Liquid Lounge....
  22. Cheers, yes he's in a class of his own, closely followed by Esco....
  23. Not guilty my Lord....but if and when i do, you'll be the first to know, be on Facebook comparing notes
  24. Well as i said over in Live, i see it as a bit of a joke at my expense for my stupidity, no big deal. Somone else could've seen it and been a right stirring cunt, possibly caused a few rows. Fair play to you
