  1. In a global economy the wasteful Socialist Welfare States will continue to have their currencies devalue as a direct result of poor economic management. Socialist Welfare States with commodities to export will do better while those commodities are in demand. At least until they're exhausted. This of course has noting to do with good economic practices.
  2. Contrary to the PC Nanny-State bullshit line welfare does not reduce homelessness, crime or other undesirable activities it actually leads to their increase (don't expect the socialist politicians or their army of social workers to let that little fact get out). The biggest industry and portion of government spending is now Welfare Waste. Add to that the hard working tax slaves who then become the working poor in order to support the parasite class and you end up with economic collapse plunging exchange rates, rising deficits, crime etc, etc. Sound familiar? You have also created a society that welcomes parasites from around the world to feed on the carcass. And so the downward spiral continues to gather pace.
  3. Either the failed Welfare State is dismantled in which case pensions are consigned to history's rubbish bin and the pound rises or the failed Welfare State continues to be propped up by printing ever more worthless pounds and the currency continues to fall. There is never a ''have your cake and eat'' it easy way out.
  4. The UK and most Euro pension systems are unsustainable or already bankrupt so expect to see them either phased out or reduced into the future. The longer the pension jokes are allowed to bankrupt the economy the lower the currency will go. The party's over - forever.
  5. Without a doubt and that includes anywhere in the world. Humans are nomadic creatures by nature and it is unnatural to settle down and be exploited by everyone from the Tax thieves to the Femocratic divorce courts. Only the nomad is human and totally free.
  6. Well this will certainly help to keep the economy and pound down. Next stop third world.
  7. My life has been deemed to valuable to ride a bike in Pattaya which is ok by me. But no doubt it is a suitable form of transport for any of the expendables. I think if you research the actual figures you won't conclude riding a bike is safer in Pattaya than the US but feel free to correct the record if I'm wrong.
  8. Manipulation aside the strength of a currency is a measure of the success of it's economy. If you live in a money wasting, taxed the Suckers to death, Welfare-Nanny State your currency's stuffed.
  9. Living like a second class citizen in Thailand is still a hell of a lot better than living like a third class, welfare supporting, tax slave, in one of the Welfare Nanny States.
  10. Well you certainly come across as a level headed BM enjoying life. Thanks for all your well thought out advice but I think I'll just stick to enjoying myself and getting the best value for money I can as I would anywhere. Have a nice day.
  11. As far as I'm concerned all those that keep directing the Thai peasant girl refrain of 'Cheap Charlie' towards those sensible BMs that don't pay more than they need to are, if not directly then at least by inference, 'Bragging'
  12. To live in Thailand and support yourself is cheap. To come to Thailand and become a one man welfare system to hangers on becomes expensive. The choice is yours.
  13. Well considering you're paying a Kings Ransom they should treat you like one.
