  1. Do you know any good sites to download these movies? Would really appreciate it.
  2. They are excellent.
  3. I'm not defending the guys in question but if 1% of their story is true (the observer newspaper is one of the most respected in the UK) then God help us. As for the elected Spanish Goverment saying that they want to pull out their troops out of Iraq, I don't think it has anything to do with the Madrid Bombings. This goverment said all along it wanted to pull out the troops before the elections, because they listened to their people. The Spanish people Knew the difference between the struggle with Al Qaida and the war in Iraq.
  4. This is interesting. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/sto...1168937,00.html
  5. I sent one e-mail and got a reply after a week
  6. I'm sure you'll find your code on the internet. In any search engine just type International dialing codes, and I'm pretty sure you'll find it. Or you can try www.bt.com. Finally you can call BT operator, 192 I think.
  7. Out of the 50 DVD's I bought , 20 had DVD9 on them, but when I checked them up they were under 4.7 Giga which means they are not. In fact they are single layered or DVD5. So far I have not heard that DVD9's copies can be produced. As for the quality, they use good shrinking programs.
  8. Thanks guys, got the message
  9. Can anybody tell me when is best time to visit Pattaya between June and August and how is the weather during these times. Thank you
  10. Sunny, I think a 7 hour period is enough for you to go to central Amman and back to the airport. You'll have no problem with Visa, you can have it at the Airport. A taxi will cost around (Euros 20) from the airport to central Amman. You can arrange with the same taxi to come back and pick you up (probably Euros 15) couple of hours before the flight, so you can basically spend between 3-4 hours. As where to go, there are many pubs in Amman, some of them are really nice, but nothing like thailand. They are european style pubs. When you decide let me know and I'll give you names and details. As for Zigga Zagga, I'm afraid the timing is not good. At 3.45 am I don't think you have any choices, even the Hotel Bar will be closed. As for massage in the hotel, I don't know but again at 3.45 am everything would be closed. You could arrange for a taxi to take you around early in the morning for a drive to Central Amman and back to the airport, but again your flight is at 12.15 in the afternoon, so you should bear in mind that the taxi needs half an hour to go back to the Airport. I hope these details are clear, but if you need more information do let me know.
  11. Hi The Alia Gateway is near the airport, it's half an hour drive from Amman. It's OK, but nothing like the 5 stars hotels in Thailand or even in Central Amman. I guess you will arrive early in the morning and fly to midday, so there is not much you can do, otherwise you could take a taxi to central Amman as there are many places to see. If you need more information about Amman or RJ do not hesitate to write back.
  12. Try this one. His name is PAN, tel no. 01 9455073. I was intoduced to him through a cousin of his who works as a waitress. He gave me a lift from Pattaya to the Amari Hotel, in Bangkok. His driving was excellent, no speeding. The car was new, and vey clean.
  13. Just to let everybody knows that most DVD copies you buy from the streets don't work. They are scratched, dirty, probably been used 100 times before they are sold. Best advice is to check them for scratches before you buy them. Do not believe the guy if he tells you that they are copied from the original version, or if he tells you that they are DVD9 formats which is the better quality ones, as they do not produce these DVD's yet. I paid 150-180 Baht each in Pattaya, but in bangkok I used to pay 100 baht each.
  14. I stayed there the first week of February, didn't book just took a taxi from the airport straight to the hotel, I got a nice room but was expensive ($75) even though I got a discount (5%) because I offered to pay one week in advance. The room was clean, had a DVD player, 2 TV’s and a music system and they used to make it up twice a day (only when you leave). The Jacuzzi didn't work properly and was too noisy so didn't bother with it after the first use. Swimming pool looked OK, although it was always empty, again didn't bother to use it. As for cockroaches, only saw small one, in the whole week of stay. Mind you every morning I used to have some insects bites. They place so many items in your room (Champagne, T shirt, condoms, hairbrush, shampoos, creams, etc...), which makes it difficult for you to watch for all these things when a girl come and stay with you). They had no problem with guests and they never charged extra for them, so you could have somebody staying with you the whole period if you wanted. My mobile was stolen which I'm sure by one of the staff of the hotel because when I left in the morning It was there but when I went back it wasn't. Luckily I had my sim card removed from it and placed separately. When I reported this to the reception I was told why I didn’t place it in the safe deposit. Finally one thing which bothered me was the lights, I used to make an effort to switch off the whole lights as there were too many switches, (more than ten). This was done everyday because the cleaners used to switch them on every time they make up the room. As for the kitten's club I went there couple of times, I liked the place, very friendly people, I picked up a girl which was really nice. I would probably go back to the Hotel and give it one more chance but I still keep my eyes open for other places, so my advice for everybody who wants to visit is to try it for couple of nights first before paying them for a whole week (in order to get the 5% discount). I would give it 7/10
