Bruiser, I tend to agree in general. I will say that Mr. Falwell lived what he preached unlike so many of these TV guys. All in all though, they didn't have much of a sense of humor. Me I laughed until I almost peed myself.

I will never forget when this came out. I lived in VA near Jerry Falwells church and college. Bible belt big time. Evidently people didn't know what the moive was about. By 1/3 of the way through the movie the the full room was down to abuot 1/2 full. You missed parts due to all of the movement and complaining.

On the subject of cost. I stay in hotels 70 to 80 nights a year minimum. I normally stay at Hilton so I have over 200K in points. I can stay at no cost. I also fly a lot so I have airline points so my flight is $80.00 I think this makes me king of the cheap bastards. Now if I can get girls into the Hilton for free I'm a happy camper.

LOL I guess I am forwarned. How do they know you have an un-authorized guest? I wasn't going to stop by the desk and tell them I picked up a hooker. When my Thai wife and I were dating (yes I screwed up and married one), she booked a room in BKK. We got back from dinner and drinking late one evening and an employee of the hotel stopped us and told me I couldn't have a girl in my room. I told him it was not my room it was her room, she booked it. THere was a heated discussion in Thai and he backed off. Just for good measure she called the night manager and gave him hell from the room. After we got married the same thing happened, only it was my room and she was my wife. I told them and they appoligised. Both times it was fun to watch but I often wonder if the employees are not stuck in the middle. Just becausee an old bastard like me is with a young Thai woman doesn't mean she is a hooker. In any case the room is free so if I have to pay a couple of times I guess it isn't a big deal. I will move to more guest friendly arrangements when my time with them is up.

I have points so I am going to stay at the Hilton for a few nights. I know it is expensive otherwise. Anyone stayed there and had overnight guests in?

You better check how many points you have. I'm Hilton Diamond and have a ton of points. They wanted between 45,000 and 95,000 points a night for a room depending on when I was going.

Has anyone stayed at the Manita hotel. I was chatting with a lady who works there and wanted to get the low down before I book.
