New Pizzas at the Pattaya Beer Garden
bigdelta replied to PattayaPete's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Actually Pete, running a pizza place is not that challenging. Many return customers are returnees because of your pizza and first timers either like or dislike your offerings, choosing to return or not. Of course, the same can be said of full service restaurants,to some degree, but pizza palaces for sure.I was co-owner of a shop back in the 80s,so maybe things have changed. -

Will you be including tomato sauce-a rarity in Patts? I once received 5 packets of ketchup along with my pizza from a "supposed" decent pizza place in Jomtien. 50b-great price. -
BANGKOK, July 23 (Reuters) - Thai Airways International THAI.BK said on Thursday it had negotiated with Airbus (EAD.PA) to delay the delivery of six A380 superjumbos to December 2012 from late 2010 to reflect weak airline business. "We want to postpone the delivery as far as possible to reflect the current market conditions," Chairman Ampon Kittiampon told reporters after its board meeting. "We have agreed with Airbus for the delay," he said adding the first A380 would replace Boeing 747 plane, which would be decommissioned in 2012. The airline, majority owned by the state, is amon

UPDATE 1-Doomed Air France plane was not destroyed in flight
bigdelta replied to bigdelta's topic in Idle Chit Chat
Obviously, they ruled out explosives also. And search to continue until July 10 for CVR and FDR (no,not the former President). And "experts" said no life jackets were found inflated, which they attributed to the psgrs having no time to prepare-except for the agonizing minutes to crash vertically. Also,I understand that the life jackets were not to be inflated inside that acft at any time. http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/07/02...rss_mostpopular -
PARIS, July 2 (Reuters) - The Air France plane that crashed into the Atlantic last month with 228 people on board was not destroyed in mid-air but hit the water intact and at high speed, French investigators said on Thursday. Flight AF 447 went missing during a flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris on June 1. The exact cause of the disaster is not yet known. "The plane was not destroyed while it was in flight. It seems to have hit the surface of the water in the direction of flight and with a strong vertical acceleration," said Alain Bouillard, who is leading the investigation on behalf

A few months back,I booked a "free" trip on Air Asia.Including taxes ad fees,it came to under 3k.Now,their admin and fuel surcharges are no longer in effect,so the price will drop drastically between Macau and BKK.Keep an eye out for their specials-get on their e-mail list. In fact,I didn't use my ticket for travel last week,June 25-28,since I'm back I'm back in World.

nid-I'll start with MenU as an example of not turning a profit-they can barely service debt IIRC. If those smaller clubs went public as some minor league baseball teams have here, that may be an option.I know at least 1 small club went public in GB. -

To be clear once more,I don't use that word.I just cut and pasted an e-mail I rec'd from a BLACK friend regarding no longer being able to use the phrase,"niggered something up",and offered replacent phrases,IIRC;obviously in reference to the president of the US.No one was called that word,it wasn't used in a derogitory manner, ect. I'm still waiting on an admission by sinkfast that he failed to send a PM both prior to and after the warning, thereby failing in his responsibilities as a moderator. And MM or sinkfast, once again, time to man-up and post that horrible ditty I posted. And MM,I know y -

I "believe" I remember the post now.Not word for word, but the crux of it was about using the term"niggered it up",sayig we could no loger use that term because we have a black President,IIRC.I never used the term in a degrading manner-it was just in the context of the joke It was a cut and paste and was humorous.I would NEVER use that term, either spoken or ritten. And surely not off-color-no pun inteded. And since you refuse to tell the whole story,I will, regarding my 2nd PM. "2. The second PM is a very long rant about Arab women in burkas on a flight trying to touch his child and an air mar -

Just so we're clear here-I DID NOT EVER say or write ,"somebody else said something worse".If I did,I honestly don't remember. NO,I did't deserve it ,MM.Because neither he or you can give anyone here, including me,what I posted that was out of line.Strictly arbitrary on your/his part. So I guess you're taking the easy way out and not answering the requests (above replies) for guidelines.Figures. BTW,stick your warnings. -

Please, your Highness,do post the "crap" you're referring to which I sent.Unlike you,I have nothing to hide. You really are thick. How could I come to you and say,"hey,I was out of line",when I have no clue what you're referring to?Duh! Next. -
I received my 1st warning-25%-after 7 years here beacuse I posted,in his opinion,a racist remark. Here's his reply: You made a post that broke the rules. I deleted it and sent gave you a 25% warning. You seem to be asking me to explain a post that you made. Sorry I can't do that. If you are looking for a quote of your post, sorry, I didn't save it. I sift through hundreds of posts a week and don't remember them all exactly, nor do I care to. Feel free to contact anyone you choose. If Martin wants to remove the warning he will. LONDON -- ESPN will broadcast live Premier League matches for the first time in Britain after gaining rights from financially troubled Setanta Sports. The Premier League on Monday announced that ESPN, owned by The Walt Disney Co., will televise 46 matches next season and 23 in each of the three seasons from 2010-11 in its first major contract to broadcast live sports in Britain. "Premier League football is one of the world's most sought after sports properties," said Russell Wolff, ESPN International's executive vice president and managing director.
