  1. Great name because apparently you can't "Sea" the Beach.1200b is a bit pricey for that but not sure if that''s in line with similar accommodations on Larn.Any idea MM?
  2. Airline liability for baggage damage is obviously limited. It was $1500 IIRC and any amount over that needed to be declared and paid for by the passenger. But I've been retired for 4 yrs now so things may have changed. Some items could be accepted for carriage but excess valuation was not offered,ie jewelry, ect.
  3. When I moved back to the States in early May,it was complete almost to the top of the hill. How about now?
  4. I think the restaurant is a bit overpriced too.
  5. Reminds me of where I am for a few more months.................sunny and warm south Florida.
  6. Quite possible now that Sliverpool has bent over,Man City is in turmoil and Totts can go either awy.(This sentence should have Villayouth excited in several ways). AV squad is bigger this year, adding Dunne and no longer having to play in Europe will let them concentrate on EPL.
  7. Hopefully the Lek breakfast is better than the lunch and dinner buffets, which are the worst around.
  8. Way OT.............. How about those Villans? Finally a squad big enough to compete in EPL and no more Euro worries to contend with,so onward and upward.Maybe Champions League next year, which means an even bigger squad next year. OK,back on topic-seems a fair price-I too am curious, but unlike you,not bi-curious.......
  9. Jetstar, owned by Qantas Airways, and Malaysia’s AirAsia confirmed on Friday they are in talks about a partnership to cut costs and consolidate their positions as the lowest-cost airlines in the Asia-Pacific region. Qantas, the still-profitable Australian flag carrier – which remains well positioned compared with its international rivals – said its wholly owned subsidiary and AirAsia had entered into preliminary discussions regarding a potential joint venture. AirAsia, the region’s biggest low-cost carrier, and Jetstar have grown rapidly and are looking to expand routes across south-ea
  10. MM,inquiring minds want to know. Her best "Thai" friend or best "sponsor/boy" friend was there? She's the best.
  11. Thin, hard leather seats?Really?Thick, supportive, cloth seats.Too funny. I have ridden both too. Now business class is totally different, though.Though I'm sure American's seats are cloth and comfy too.LOL! Cloth seats-this is the 21st century.
  12. Good price but doesn't meet his needs-he wanted to be the FOR Christmas.
  13. Ironically, the BKK-Had Yai trip was my only problem. They changed the departure time which didn't work for me and refunded my fare as I mentioned above,in a timely manner. In fact, that was the free fare they offered (IIRC),but they still had the surcharges back then.
  14. My longest flts were Macau and Singapore.Singapore was an older 737 which was nearly empty.
  15. Can't blame you one bit. I have used them 4 times this past year with only 1 change of schedule.I cancelled and they refunded w/i 10 days.
  16. Joeykocker critical of something-surely you jest!
  17. JAL is still considering both carriers.Whichever is best for them is who they will choose.AA will not drop their Narita service if JAL chooses Delta-it's too profitable for them. The seats on Delta do not suck-it's a 777 for chrissakes.Maybe you flew on a recently painted former NW 747. Possibly your ass was sore prior to boarding.................

  19. I can only think of 2 occasions,CIM and rear entry, but I digress. I think they would be happy to accept the items, especially since they already know you. The Pattaya Orphanage is a excellet idea.
  20. I stayed at Flamingo in March. Is there still construction across the street, starting (too) early?Thin walls but good breakfast and free airport p/u. There was a small hotel about half way to the river from Flamingo that looked promising and the adjacent bar was done in black and white-easy name but too easy for me to remember.

  22. Marston also announced a companywide freeze on basic pay and said cabin crews operating out of London's Heathrow Airport would be downsized --so that the typical 747 jet flying from London's Heathrow Airport on a long-haul trip would take off carrying 14 members of crew instead of the usual complement of 15. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/BA-cuts-1000...l?x=0&.v=10
