I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in March. It is located along the road that goes to Jomtien, near the VC hotel. It is a small hotel around 8-10 units. It is owned by an American with mostly an American clientle. It is easy to get to, the baht buses stop 10 feet from the hotel entrance. This was my second time I have stayed here, the last being in 2006. I enjoy this place and will be staying again on my next trip. I always stay in a suite room, and these rooms are more like an apartment than a hotel room. I have stayed in penthouses 2 & 4. This trip was penthouse #2. the unit has a separ

I do, however I like the arrival and departure times of the Asian airlines, so I add a stop on the west coast. PB#1

I just purchased my ticket the farthest in advance I have ever done, but the price was the best I have seen in years that didn't involve a long layouver in Korea. I am leaving on February 24 SFO-BKK on China Airways for $860 RT. I think it is a good deal. What do you think? PB#1

Is it possibele to clear customs in LA and check in and get to the gate for delta in under 2 1/2 hours? My flight would arrive at 9:15 PM Thanks PB#1

Good Day, I am planning my next trip back. I fly from the midwest USA and in the past I have flown from the west coast on Asian airlines which arrive at around noon which is nice. On this trip I am debating weather I should fly Delta which gets in at midnight, which would give me another half a night. The killer is the 5:40 AM departure from BKK. Has anybody done this and is it worth it? Seems I gain an extra half a night at the beginning and lose it on the end. Thanks

Which STD in particular do you want her to be tested for? How long do you intend to be in Pattaya as some take from 2 day to 3 months to show up on tests. PB #1

I stayed at the Sabai Lodge from May 7 to May 18, at the south end of the large pool in the rooms on the first floor that you step down to. I didn't notice that much noise from construction, but what did annoy me some was the sweeping of the pool deck that would start about 11 AM. The other annoying factors were the extremely hard beds, however, they were king size beds, so if you do not want to cuddle at night, you & your girl can go to each side of the bed and not know she is there. The other problem was the AC was lacking. The room had a recirculating AC, which should be able to freeze

Good Morning, Is the Sabai Lodge guest friendly? I think so, but want to make sure. Also has anyone stayed in one of the cottages? Thanks PB#1 99 days....

Regards, Kevin I don't mean to hijack your post, but I was meaning to ask Kevin, 1 guest is OK, but I will charged for more than 1? Is this correct? Even if I rent the Penthouse? Thanks. PB#1

Good Afternoon, I have stayed there a couple of times and have had no problems. The only drawback I experienced is that they didn't have in room safes and the the boxes at the reception desk were not open 24 hours. PB#1 Only 54 more weeks....

In 9 trips to LOS I have never had a hotel call me when a TG is leaving. That includes the Penthouse,Vault, Welcome Inn, Eastiny, Nana and Majestic Suites. Ty_

Good afternoon, I am looking for hotels that have in room safes, preferably electronic safes. In previous trips I have stayed at the Eastiny, Penthouse and the Vault and loved the ease of easy access to my stuff. Only the Vault had in room safes. I am trying to keep it under 2500 baht per night. Any ideas? Thanks Ty_

I am just the opposite. This is my 9th trip to Thailand and every trip I spend more per day. I also earn quite a bit more so that helps. Tonight my budget for food, drinks and TG is 10,000 to 14,000 baht. Yes I buy a lot of lady drinks. My first trip in 2000 I allowed myself 4000 baht per day. If I were to stay in LOS for 6 months, my budget would be about 3000 baht per night. Ty_

Greetings, As I type this, I am sitting at the computer in Penthouse #3. It is everything everybody has described. It is a large room, maybe 1500 square feet, the shower itself is larger that my whole bathroom at home. With the free internet, free laundry service, 2000 baht per night is not to bad. The only drawbacks are that is a little bit out of the way and it sucks trying to cross the road out fronts. I will definately stay here again. cya Ty

Gentlemen, The worst part of my trips, besides having to leave, is getting over the jet lag when I get home. I like to take advantage of every second of my holiday, so when the plane lands at 5:00 AM, I am sitting at my desk 2 hours later at 7 AM. The time difference is 12 or 13 hours, depending on when I go. I have tried to stay awake later, going to sleep at 4:00 am thinking that when I get home, I won't start getting tired until 4PM. It doesn't work. It is so bad for me, that some one has to drive me home from work the first 4 days I am back. The only thing that seems to help is that I

I have never posted photos, but, when I stay in BKK I always stay at Nana. I stay in the suite rooms, cost about 2000 baht per night, but you get much more room, 2 TV's etc. Never seen any bugs. Only drawback is you are only allowed 2 guests and some of the rooms are over the disc. Ty_

another newbie to los needing help !!
PigBoy#1 replied to hawkeyes's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I use ATM Card with new US $100 bills as a back up. Usually $500 to $600. If I have troubles, I could always use my credit card to get cash. The first couple of times I used travelers checks, but they are a hassle, having to have your passport, signatures having to match exactly, etc. There are ATMs everywhere in Pattaya. Greetings, I am starting to think about my hotel for my upcoming trip in March and am thinking of staying at the RG. I really like the discount given by booking thru PP website but it doesn't give a discount if you want to stay in the larger suites. That may not be all that important, but in reading their website,it states that only 2 people are allowed in a 1 BR suite. What has been your experience in bringing back 2 or 3 or more ladies? Thanks Ty_

I usually purchase my tickets about 5 months in advance. Lately I have been flying Philippines Airlines, their tickets tend to rise in price the closer you get to departure date. Also, I believe the cost to change a ticket is only $100, so that would be the most I would be out. I am planning on going back to Pattaya & AC on March 1, so I will probably buy my ticket October 1. Hotels with Discreet entrances ?
PigBoy#1 replied to bongojona's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Greetings, The Welcome Inn on Soi 3 or 2 has a back entrance by the pool if it bothers you to be seen. I would never recommend staying there, but it does have a back entrance. As to having the girl drop off her ID card, I have never had the hotel call me and ask if everything is ok when she left. IMO I don't like the idea, as it puts a damper on how many ladies you can bring back. Ty_ Back 1 March 2006
