Hi, Liverpool are coming into contention but can they win it with such a poor defence ? My answer is no. Arsenal play like champions to defeat an improving Sunderland. Chelsea scrape home with a late and dodgy goal against Everton. Moyes seems to be moving Man Utd in the right direction and I think they will challenge for the title next year.

Hi, I haven't praised the work of Poyet at Sunderland yet but he has done a great job. In the final of the League Cup and qf of The Cup. I'm sure he will steer Sunderland to safety. Uruguay is a country of a few million people but have won 2 World Cups. They know their football and it is a country I have to visit at some time.

Newcastle have taken to the beach early in the season. They sold Cabaye and have nothing to play for. Stoke are improving under Mark Hughes and will do much better next year IMO.

Hi, Moyes is not to blame. The lack of good signing in the last few years by Fergie, especially in midfield, is at the root of the problem. I remain to be convinced that Smalling and Jones are the answer in the centre of defence. Jones should be given a chance there as he is not good enough in midfield. Hi, The scousers slip up in the midlands. I couldn't believe Sunderland were over 3/1 to win at Newcastle and Stoke were 4/1 to beat MU at home. Money to be made if you go for the outsider in some of these games at the moment. My Chelsea mate had a grand on Stoke, not sure he will try to back it up against Man City tonight though.

What a great performance from Stoke to beat MU for the first time in 40 years. Hughes is getting them playing better football and Pulis is doing a good job at Palace. West Ham win away at Swansea after a good point at Chelsea. I posted that I thought Everton would bounce back from their freak defeat against Liverpool. Where did that post go ? Man City v Chelsea is Monday. That may decide where the title goes.
