Hi, Maybe. I'm having a small bet on them to get to the final.
-
Hi, I thought the French went down without a fight. Portugal have a good chance of beating Spain as they are struggling without Villa's goals. Italy look poor in front of goal so it looks like the Germans are on the march.
-
Hi, I dont think we saw the best of Black Caviar. The ground wasn't the best and as wbennets says she may have injured herself. Still, undefeated and should retire now.
-
Hi, Italy prove too strong for England. England played with spirit at least. Time to get the young boys in now despite the good performances of JT and Gerrard.
-
Hi, He is suspended tonight.
-
Hi, Germany showed how an ultra defensive side like Greece can be beaten. Brave to start with all new attack. Schweinstiger seems out of form however.
-
Hi, What a cad. Portugal looked good last night and Ronaldo looks up for it. With the other Real players and Moutinho they have quality through the side. England and Italy should be a tight game.
-
Hi, Unlucky. Lost 6 lenghts at the start. My luck, had the winner, cleared losses on first day.

Hi, Good performance by England in a tough match. The phone ins have been scathing of the team but I think Ukraine are not a bad team and to beat them in such an important match was a good show. France are beaten by Sweden and now face Spain. Not impressed with France or Spain in this competition and am hopeful of collecting on Germany.

Hi, England face moment of truth tonight. Tough game IMO playing home team in any competition. Roy has done a good job so far.
-
Hi, Money. Lots of it in sport nowadays.
-
Hi, Portugal are a threat to everyone with Ronaldo in the mood. Germany could have gone out last night if a penalty was given for the tug on Bendtner. Russia went out despite having the best goal difference in the group. I wonder how many times that has happened ?
-
Hi, Rooney for Young and England can improve. England showed good spirit which is not always the case.
-
Hi, England will have to play one or the other in QF(if they qualify). Not an easy task.

Hi, This guy has written a very good book about cycling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Kimmage "Rough Ride" In May 1990, Kimmage published Rough Ride, detailing his experiences as a domestique which included references to drug use, including that of his own. Kimmage was vilified within cycling as having "spat in the soup" (a colloquial phrase denoting betrayal, from the French, cracher dans la soupe), and within Ireland for having slurred Kelly and Roche. Roche responded with anger and threat of litigation, though Kimmage had never named him or Kelly among those he had seen doping. The book won the William Hill Sports Book of the Year in its year of publication. Relationship with Lance Armstrong Paul Kimmage has a history of confrontations with seven times Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. Kimmage has invoked the ire of Armstrong over claims that most of Armstrong's early US Postal cycling team were doped, claiming that riders like George Hincapie had taken performance enhancing drugs. Kimmage continues to accuse many cyclists, in particular Armstrong, of doping. This confrontation received widespread coverage before the 2009 Tour of California, when Kimmage asked Armstrong a question regarding dopers. Upon learning the identity of Kimmage, who had earlier referred to Armstrong as the "cancer" of cycling, Armstrong responded aggressively to the question, with the heated exchange being uploaded to popular video sharing sites

Hi, Spain look back on song after hammering the Irish. The English have never beaten the Swedes in a competitive game. Is tonight the first time ?
-
Hi, Solid game from England and I think they may have won with Rooney playing. Great to see Schevchenko back on form. He was great playing for Kiev and Milan but his journey to Stamford Bridge was a disaster for his career. Still one of the best strikers over the last 20 years.
-
Hi, I had a small bet for Sweden to qualify from this group so I hope they win tonight and the other game is drawn. Good luck.

Hi, The same guy. Looked different class. Rarely played so well for us. I was impressed by Russia and Germany won against a very negative Portugal.Potugal looked better when they went behind and had to open up their play. The Dutch were unlucky but may be going home. Ireland were well beaten by Croatia who have 2 very good forwards and Edourdo and Kranjaer(???) on the bench. Spain always find Italy a tough team to beat.
-
Hi, Good call. Russia look good but will face a tough game against the second team in the group of death. I thought the Greeks done well to fight back against Poland with 10 men. They should have got the 3 points. Better start than usual in these competitions.
-
Hi, Indeed we do. Well done, you done something very few teams have done. Greece are another winner who have been left out and I think the Czech's won as well when they were joined with Slovakia. I kept the choice to 10 for convenience, sorry. If any of the others win it I'll look silly.
-
Hi, Thanks. I'm a romantic and would like to see the Dutch play as they did in the past. With style.
-
Hi, Half of them. France have a good chance. Germany - missing the injured Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Goetze
-
Hi, None of Bayern's players were on duty.

Hi, Having given Spain to win the last European Championship, and then the World Cup, it’s hard to desert them this time. However, it is hard to stay at the top forever and I have a feeling they may get beat this time. David Villa has been a big player for them and his absence could be a factor. Barcelona failed to win the Champions League without him this year and although Spain have Torres and Llorente as replacements it could be a deciding factor. If I’m deserting Spain I have to find an alternative. Germany have been beaten by Spain in both the World and European Cups but are still a young improving team. They have many players from the Bayern Munich team, which were unlucky to lose in the Champions League final, and Ozil from Real Madrid. They rarely flop on the big stage and should go close. Many boardies will be cheering on England. They have 3 players from Champions League winners Chelsea who should all play. Cahill, Cole and Terry are all good defenders. With Joe Hart in goal, England’s defence seems its strongest asset. Rooney misses the first 2 games which may be problematic. Midfield seems a bit lacking in flair to me. Holland got to the World Cup final playing football that wasn’t in the finer traditions of Dutch total football. Still, they have Van Persie and give little away but I’d prefer them play like they did when Cruyff and co. entertained with beautiful style. Portugal are a team who could go well, but they are in a tough group. They have Ronaldo who has been in great form for Real Madrid in Spain. The Portuguese teams have performed well in Europe this year and have good technical players. Russia got to the semi-final last time and had a good qualifying campaign. They also have an easy looking group. They are a good outside bet. France have Benzama, who scored lots of goals in La Liga for Real Madrid, and lots of promising young players in midfield. They seem a united group and the French are hard to beat in any team sport when their heads are right. Ireland have the most successful manager of the lot, Trapattoni, in charge, and the team is very organised. They have one of the best keepers in Given and Robbie Keane has a great record in International football. Dunne and Duff are 2 other good international players so Ireland may surprise a few people in a tough group. Italy were my selection for the 2006 World Cup and didn’t let me down. I wouldn’t put off anyone from backing them this time but they wont be carrying any of my money. I’ll be watching Mario Ballotelli with interest and hope he has a good tournament. The remaining teams are hard to fancy. Greece won the tournament in 2004 at 100/1 and are the same price this time. I can’t see lightening striking twice. Sweden and Denmark are decent teams but don’t seem good enough. Croatia and the Czech’s have done well in tournament football in the past, but look weaker this time around. Of the 2 host countries I prefer Poland. They have Lewandowski up front and he has scored a lot of goals for the German champions Borussia Dortmund this season. They also have Szczesny in goal who had a great season in England for Arsenal. Ukraine teams are not doing as well as they used to in the Champions League and for that reason I cant fancy them even with home advantage. I hope the football is entertaining and the best team wins. I’m backing Germany this time as they seem on the up. My only reservation is Bayern Munich supply much of the squad and they have finished second in 2 cups and the league this year. However, they have the youngest midfield in the competition and that may be a factor in their favour after a long season for most of the top players in Europe. Russia is my outside bet as they have a soft draw and could be hard to beat if they get momentum. If Spain win a third major competition in a row they must be regarded as the best International team of all time. I’ll have a few bottles of Cava if they do. Enjoy the football, and if you have a win bet, or bets in running, I hope you win a few baht.
