  1. Hi, Everton prove the stars of the weekend with a good win over Man Utd. Local boys Gosling and Rodwell come on late in the game to sink the Mancs. Arsenal and Chelsea scrape home and West Ham have a solid win over Hull. Man City and Liverpool play a game that will stay long in the memory for the wrong reasons.
  2. Hi, A good eveing for the gooners as Chelsea lose at Everton and Man Utd draw with Villa. Spurs are playing as some boardies have suggested they might by losing at Wolves. Man City seem to have a good chance of a top 4 finish but its too early to write off Liverpool. Pompey are 7 days from..?
  3. Hi, Saw it on Sky Sports News channel. It showed the keeper and interviewed some people outside the ground. Didn't hear what was said as I was in a pub at the time.
  4. Hi, So it's 40 years old.
  5. Hi, Many great players but it has to be Bobby Moore who lifted the World Cup. Will John Terry do the same this year ?
  6. Hi, Saw that clip. Were you shown on TV? Chelsea prove too strong for Arsenal so it's a 2 way fight for the title now.
  7. Hi, Just as easy to spell as Toma?
  8. Hi, I've seen enough of Almunia. We have the Polish International goalkeeper as of now so I suppose your guy is safe for the time being. If he is another Toma? he will do for me.
  9. Hi, Afraid I was right. It looks between Chelsea and Man Utd now. Chelsea had a great win against an in form Birmingham midweek and win away at the weekend. Man Utd outplay an underperforming Arsenal. John Terry troubles might affect Chelsea but I still think they will hang on.
  10. Hi, LOS aint the only place for graft. Sure someone is getting a nice earner.
  11. Hi, If you read many companies statements the only way their profits are up is by reducing staff numbers. Where will the profits come from next year when they have no one left to "lay off"?
  12. Hi, Arsenal take the lead in Premiership. Had to say that as it might be the only time I can. It looks a 3 way run to the title now that Spurs seem to be living up to Obsessions forecast. Liverpool back in the running for a Champions League place.
  13. Hi, Great commentator. RIP.
  14. Hi, Considering how things have gone so far that's a big IF.
  15. Hi, Chelsea looked at their best as they slaughter Sunderland. Arsenal stand up to the physical play of Bolton to give their fans hope. Man Utd struggle but eventually get the better of Burnley. Everton continue their recent run with an excellent win over Man City. Not many big spends in the window yet and few of the teams seem to have much money.
  16. Hi, I'm still with Chelsea even though I hope Arsenal can surprise me and see it home. Man Utd and Liverpool have big problems off the pitch with finance which seems to be affecting their purchasing plans. Man City could make a late dash for the prize.
  17. Hi, Too true. This is what is happening now. When highly skilled well paid jobs are exported the economy ends up with too many McJobs and too many people with no spending power. Credit replaced increased wages in America and results in massive private debt as well as the debt of Uncle Sam. Globalisation seems a good idea in theory, but in practice it only seems to work for the Elite. The rest of us are stuffed.
  18. Hi, No objection to boardies making a few $'s.
  19. Hi, Been on holiday? Nice to see you back posting. I'm sure some of the SA girls are nicer than that photo so wear a jacket if you go to the World Cup.
  20. Hi, Happy days for Airbus. http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2010/...ed-boeings.html DATE:08/01/10 Airbus' 2009 orders on course to exceed Boeing's By David Kaminski-Morrow
  21. Hi, The end of the year and more or less half way in the Premiership. Chelsea continue to lead the way from Man Utd and Arsenal. Not a great league this year IMO as the credit crunch affects the quality of players. Man City should be in a strong position financially to prosper as they have money while most are cutting back budgets and some may go bust. Megson sacked by Bolton as fans seem to hate the guy. Liverpool struggle this year but seem the most likely club to get Arab money as they are a big Worldwide brand.
  22. Hi, Arsenal make ground as Man Utd lose again and Chelsea draw with West Ham. Aston Villa are performing well and visit London this weekend to play Arsenal. Man City sack Mark Hughes despite losing fewer games than anyone. Liverpool seem in trouble and will do well to finish in the top 4. Another Italian manager in the Premiership.
  23. Hi, I dont want to rain on your parade but the first flight was shortened by a few hours and the second one had issues with its landing gear. Plenty of work still to be done. Hi, Governments and Big Business are both out to screw the small guy.
  24. Hi, Those criminal bankers haven't all your money then.
  25. Hi, I was highlightimg the behaviour of the "free market" companies beloved by MrMango.
