Stayed in Areca Lodge during June 2003. Definitely no joiners fee. Going back Dec. this year. From what I understand of it you book and pay for a double room. Therefore no charge and your overnight 'guest' stays for free with breakfast for two the following morning included. ;D Hotel itself relatively new with an additional block just having been built which is supposed to be open in Dec. Really liked it in June thats why we're returning in Dec. Pretty sure you'll enjoy your stay there. Cheers. T.C.

Do you have a vested interest by chance Have looked at the web site and it does looks pretty impressive. Do you know much is it for the pick up and car ride from Pattaya to the guest house? Also for evening entertainment of the BG variety ;D can we 'dine' locally or is a Pattaya 'takeaway' recomended.

Good idea Gabor about the henna tatoo. Hope you can read Thai though because I'm sure the locals would have a smile if it said "I am falang c**t". Or something similair. T.C.

When in Pattaya during June 2003 Soi 8 BG happily informed me that she had been 'tested' and was 'clean'. She then paused for a moment and then added with a pained expression "But me only bar girl and they tell me anything they like". Seems like even the BG's are not convinced by these 'tests'. T.C.
