http://www.thepattayacity.com/navinmansion/ found this place. not to shabby. The distance from beach road not to bad, neither is the price.

Seeing those pics reminded me of my 4 lovely years having the luxury and luck of being stationed there in the military. I came back a few years ago and was surprised at a lot of changes in the marketplace. My usual bar was gone now a fruit juice bar and it's now more family friendly. Still though, fond memories...

I agree with cicero...ktk pattaya is nice but to expensive for my taste.
-
I'd rather have a false sense of security with a safe in my room then no safe at all.
-
Not a big fan of boxes behind the desk as they are the only ones with keys. Guess I can always improvise....

Looks like we have a winner! Anyone stay here before?
-
I agree, lot's of potential but a bit far for me

Wi-fi, hotplate, a/c, fan, shower, TV, queen or king sized bed, in-room safe would be nice as well. I guess, whatever you would find in a long term location. Not to picky.

Yes It's 15-18000 a month with a max at 25,000 baht a month. If need be I can go as high as 30,000 a month. Sorry for all the confusion .

Alright, I think I put the wrong number in on both. I meant 15-18000 baht, and no more than 25 thousand baht. That's what I get for making a post while I've been drinking. I forgot to take in account I'm visiting here much longer than I normally do of 30 days. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Currently looking for something for at least 90 days if not more in the price range of 1500-1800 baht a night. any suggestions?

must have missed that briefing as well. However, if you know where to go, the chances of you running into anyone you know decrease dramatically

Thanks for the heads up! I will definetely look into this. I'm surprised my friend hadn't thought about it this as he travels back and forth to Thailand quite a bit.

Not sure if this went through but I have more than enough in savings for fun and learning. Not to mention enough to hold me over until I can hopefully aquire another security job.

I'm old for a student lol I'm 34. spent the last 12 years in the military and the last 2 1/2 working security.

You know, I've actually never heard of that one. Is there a link I can go to?

alright, so, i'm not a newbie to pattaya after several visits over the past several years (10 to be exact) but this time, I plan on doing something new. I'm planning on living there for at least 9 months while i finish my degree and I'm already looking at places to stay. However, what would be the best course of action to staying there on say, a student visa? I've heard Walen would be my best choice. Any suggestions or comments on this?
