  1. CheshireTom is a regular there, and thanks to him I stayed there last trip Nov/Dec Rooms are about 900BHT per night max, it is guest friendly, and the service staff are cool. Also has 2 very HOT receptionists, and got a few laughs from them, and am sure one of them wanted to see the inside of my Hotel room Does NOT have a swimming pool though, but you get to use the ones in sabai lodge just over the road. Rooms are clean, and comfortable, cleaned daily and bar sorted - got extra pillows when I asked for them aswell. Also would recommend the massage place on the left as you co

I too went to west east and all the deals had gone for the dates I had in mind So I went to www.thgholidays.co.uk and got one for 449, which I thought was a bargain for a direct flight. especially when I was gonna pay 400 for an inderect one. Plus with EVA I get the more sociable departure times

  10. I was hoping some guys would have an idea as to how I could do this. I have a plane ticket to hongkong which is non transferable and now want to go back to PTTY to hook up with my GF from the last / first trip. So any ideas as to how one could get from hongkong to either bangkok or pattaya cheaply would be appreciated. Also, some information on how to get the bus to PTTY would also be appreciated. TIA Dan

  15. Excellent Info I will be staying in the President Solitaire on my last day in LOS after 8 days in PTTY. I will use the internet access to upload all my pics to a server in the UK - Just in case I loose my laptop etc.... Must remeber to bring the ethernet cable though - or does anyone know if President Solitaire is Wi-Fi Enabled?? Cheers Dan
  16. Good Question Stiffler I too would be interested in the reply as I fly with them on 17th April, same route. I know other Airlines are not very strict. Also dont suppose you know what the hand luggage allowance is - most airlines I have used in the past do not count a laptop within the hand luggage allowance, which is always handy. Have never been myself, but following the recommendation of a friend I too have booked and paid for in full using r24.org, having said that I amonly going for 8 nights and it iss my first trip so would prefer zero hassle.   20. Havent stayyed there personally yet, but a buddy on anther board has, and higly recommends it. It is the height of luxury - I have booked a room for my last night in BKK before flying home, I went for the most luxurious room possible with the Jacuzzi, so it should be good. HTH D

  24. Hi Guys - First Post and it had to be about airlines - ah well. I am planning my first trip, for april next year 17th April till 1 may, and am looking for a flight. So far the cheeapest I have found is EVA Air departing from London Heathrow - for 466 squid. What I was wondering is has anyone got any views on this airline, as I had never heard of them before. And do they think this is a good price. Cheers D
