i have not eating there since it moved from second road between soi 7 and soi 8 years ago but when it used to be there i used it most weeks while i was in pattaya as the owner was a friend of my friends and comes from holland and the food was really good.

hello was wondering if any members here are or did work in india and how did they think about it, as i was thinking of moving jobs and looking for something closer to thailand, and is the money for working there any good what type of job are you doing or done there, looking for a little bit of help in this department on what kind of jobs are best suited in india and wage for the job you do. thanks

spoke with my thai girl today and asked her the question how many weeks in a year and yes of course she came back with the same answer as most of you have said, thai,s think 48 weeks so i explained to her no it is 52 weeks, as some months have extra days and when you add all those days up come to another 4 weeks but she still did not understand so i then said how many days in a year and she says 365 and i say yes, so i told her to add up each seven days and find out how many weeks, then she says to me ok i ask you something so i said yes were we go when you come i say ratchaburi and she say no it is latchaburi cause in thai they sometimes use the letter L instead of R, so when you here them say i go your loom it means i go your room as the are both the same meaning in thai and fa-laang saying, so she got me there

yes martin died just before christmas 2009 and did own goodfellas in soi hok and had to leave chang bar 2 on beach road as they wanted to erect what is there today, his first wife took over chang bar 1 and martin had chang bar 2, in between them was charlie,s bar and before chang bar 2 was a bar owned by a german guy, and at the back end was a bar owned by a thai police officer who went on to take over a bar oppisite the shopping mall in pattaya klaang nears the queens hotel

at the moment it is 47 baht to the pound hope it goes up a little more, to keep the misses happy

my friend owns cheap charlie,s bar called mick who is british and the reason why these bars were put there was many years ago when the bars from beach road where being moved,was to give them some kind of compensation, so it is not the owners fault of these bars that some are not seeing any customers were if they were still on beach road they would be packed every night which they used to be, if any one can remember the bars buy the police station and top of soi 9 etc. and yes each person has the right to choose were the wish to drink, price is not always the problem you can go into some place,s and pay over the odds and not feel relaxed and then go some where cheaper and feel at home without being hassled or pushed to buy drinks. if your happy in any place you can always look around and find something and when you do, you will just keep going back there as it makes you feel good with-in yourself, so we all have place,s that we always go back to to feel a little relaxed or better with-in our selfs.just look at some of the reasons why people keep coming back to thailand not just for the sex trade, some feel that it is a better way of life over there compared to where they come from, there is a old saying never judge a book by its cover as you never know what is in between, many place,s look this and that but if you really got to know about any place you would see how hard and caring the people who work or live there take pride, and as for walking street yes its a tourist street for alsorts of life but if you really want to see any area proper spend a little time doing your re-search on it don,t judge it by just walking down it a few times
