Its guest friendly if you have membership card ( IIRC 300c valid 2 years ), reception staff is checking girls id Maybe there is side entrance but i havent found any. Balcony is a must for me :) superior rooms are facing north or south ( poolside - my choice ) and offer partial sea view. They made some renovation last year :)

I also stayed at the SS many times, and I really liked it. However after the price for seaview room exceeded 1500b ( with membership card ) I said NFW My new option is Royal Twins Palace ( 2nd Road, opposite Royal Garden Plaza ) big rooms extremly similiar to the SS, last year with membership card ( and without breakfast - its only till 10:30AM so useless for me ) 1300b for superior room/high season or 1200b/low season, big nice pool, havent idea about wifi, some russians but harmless. http://www.royaltwinspattaya.com/

I've stayed in the Lek Hotel November 2007, new wing for 1200bht Room was small, worn out, a/c terrible. After one night I've checked out and found twice better room at Royal Twins for same price. Also the girl was not included :)

September 2004 I was stayed in Flipper House minisuite No 666 :) I got it for the same price. Very big room, bed little to small Bathroom with window and big bathtub. Some noise from soi 7 bars at night. Very good place to stay !

last 3 days very quiet on Soi13, im not heavy sleeper, so only problem for me is noise from air condition :) Roko right from Sandy Spring

I was at Flipper House in May and high floor rooms have limited sea view. Nice hotel, only 12 days and i will be there again

Average hotel, clean, quiet location, i paid 850B per night, but aware : 300B joiner fee. So i quick found more friendly place

BTW : baht meant "whip" in polish language, so i allways smiled when girls asking for it ;D
