  1. This coming Friday it's our joint b'day party at Catz and if previous form is anything to go by, it'll be the best party of the year. : : There'll be loads of quality food on offer (from around 8.30) and shitload of fun to be had - especially later as the girls tend to get "in the mood" for this one, assisted by copious quantities of Mexico's finest. (ok - maybe not finest ) Here's a few pics I've dug up from parties gone by to whet a few appetites. Quality a bit iffy. Hope to see you there. Cheers
  2. It's the annual Catz Open golf tourney tomorrow, Thursday, with a party held in the bar afterwards. All are welcome - you don't have to be a golfer to join the party. There's be the usual sacrificial pig, steak and kidney and cottage pies from Bob Palmer's, sausages, tandoori chicken, coleslaw, home-made potato salad and garlic bread on offer from around 8.30pm. Hope to see you there if you are in town. Cheers Pie
  3. I think Stickman covered it pretty well.......... Catz A Gogo in Pattaya (Soi 16, Walking Street) is holding its 2nd anniversary bash next Saturday, 3rd November. The two 'R's (Robin and Robert) are laying on a special spread so you'd be advised to have a light lunch! There'll be drink freebies as a way of saying thanks to all their loyal customers of the past two years. If the free food and the party atmosphere doesn't do it for you then be aware Catz has seen a major influx of cute girls recently and has also introduced several new shows - so if you are in the area don't miss out
  4. I tend not to notice the other guys but the staff usually help me. Cheers Pie P.S. Wish you could have made it............
  5. I know a fellow countryman (make that woman) of yours who ain't gonna to be all that thrilled when I cancel tomorrow night's bridge - the email declaring such I'll get round to immediately after correcting all my pissed up spelling mistakes in the earlier post. I should have "retired" in the Lake District. Cheers Pie
  6. It's short notice I know but for those few who read this then it's going to be a blast............ About 2 hours ago Alan decided to throw a party at CATZ-a-gogo tomorrow night. I'm left to pick up the pieces. The bullet points are these............ 1) Pig roast, loads of Bob Palmer's excellent pies, top notch sausages as well as the usual salads/garlic breads etc PLUS several Kilos of Australian Striploin. 2) ALL drinks ALL night (sponsored by Alan) are 2 for 1 (excluding only lady drinks). Beers, top shelf booze or cocktails - you name it - doesn't matter. They are ALL 2-
  7. Some more pics from the party with a few other random shots downloaded from my phone. Many thanks to Doggie and Derek, plus all who attended, for a top, top night. The birthday boy..... A couple of the usual supects..... Don't think that either the "18" on the cake or the number of candles were related to the b'day..... Bits of the cake went astray......... BigKev (trip 3 of 3 There ya go Bazz.... Finally - a quiz. Who do these belong to ?? Cheers Pie
  8. Pair o' cunts. I was wondering who'd be the first. Tom wasn't amongst the favourites but it wasn't too much of a surprise to see mm chirping in. Bad news....... Charged the battery (always tricky to remember) but then got into a tizz by getting behind with the garlic bread etc and forgot the camera. Nothing new there then eh ? Good news....... Took quite a few on the phone and will "process" them on Wednesday night. Now go fuck yourselves. Cheers Pie President, Customer Care & PR
  9. Doggie and Derek are celebrating jointly hitting the 100 mark with a birthday party at CATZ this coming Friday. If last year's bash is anything to go by, this will be a good one. + = Some top notch grub is being laid on. In addition to the traditional pig and Bob's cottage/steak and kidney pies, there's bangers (sausages to the non-brits), tandoori chicken, home-made potato salad, coleslaw and garlic bread. It should be a cracker with a few "special" acts at certain points during the evening. With a bit of luck Doggie might even treat us to his "midnight special"
  10. Many thanks to Alan for hosting another fantastic party. A top night further enhanced by Bill's jellies which, as usual, went down very well - and very quickly. Here's a few pics of the night's festivities......... Thanks to all that were there......... Cheers Pie
  11. Jeez - you're always the first on my case. The good news is I've resized them and now just have to upload/post. All being well, that'll be tomorrow night. Good enough ? Nah, don't answer that............ Cheers Pie
  12. Alan's back in town and is throwing a party at CATZ (Covent Garden, Walking Street Soi 16) this coming Saturday 25th August. The last one was an absolute blast with some very merry and playful staff (especially later on as the shooters/jellies hit home). This should be another cracker. Alan is laying on the roast pig, pies from Bob's as well as home-made potato salad and hot garlic bread. We're doing our bit by giving away a FREE tequila or B52 with every drink ordered - all night. The fun starts at 8pm - hope to see you there. Edit - ** STOP PRESS ** Bill (aka V
  13. 'Tis a shame. 6-9 months ago they were excellent. Their Cornish were good as were the Meat and Potato as well as my personal favourite of theirs, the Cheese and Onion. The quality has indubitably delcined though. I'm guessing that either they are using cheaper products, have someone else making them or, most likely, they tried like fuck when they first started but have since lost interest. I'd have one (of some variety or other) a week a while back and take it home, warm it up in the oven and make the chips, mushies and gravy to go with it because they were the best pies in Pattaya for
  14. Ahh, ye of little faith. Posted about an hour or so ago. There's even two of you Damon - I'm sure you'll be thrilled. Cheers Pie
  15. I've got about 3-4 months worth of assorted photos that I'm almost through resizing etc. I'm going away for a few days tomorrow but when I get back I'll finish them off and do a pic post - honest. Cheers Pie
  16. Well, you didn't seem in that bad a shape tonight china, unlike some poor SOBs that had done the full course. See you tomorrow then................. Cheers Pie
  17. Alan, a BM but not known to many, breezed (or maybe typhooned) back into town tonight and as a result of his apalling antics I am typing this with one eye open. However, rather than post it tomorrow, when my typing skills may have magically returned, I thought it better to give all a bit of notice regarding Saturday's events. 'Tis Alan's birthday party. Firstly, there'll be a succulent pig on sacrifice from 8.30 onwards, complimented by various pies from Bob Palmer's (incl. steak and kidney/cottage) and some home made (i.e yours truly) additions to include potato salad/coleslaw/garlic b
  18. Steve, Your absence will be felt by all as much as by your good self. Moby, Well spotted (and thanks) - had you been unfortunate enough to be in Catz on Friday night then you would have applauded me for getting the effing month right. Cheers Pie
  19. After the Catz golf tournament on Monday there's a party in the bar starting 8pm. All welcome - you don't have to be a golfer. A 40Kg pig will be sacrificed and there's cottage/steak and kidney pies from Bob Palmers plus potato salds/coleslaw etc. Food from around 8.30. If you are in town do drop by as in addition to the free food we've taken on lots of new girls in the last couple of weeks and quite a few of them are very easy on the eye. Cheers Pie
  20. Steve has caught us on the hop with the late announcement of his party at CATZ. He's throwing on a "pig", assorted pies/bangers and mash from Bob Palmers as well as Thai food for the gilrs/guests. Knowing Steve, this will be a good one - all welcome. If you are around, do drop by for one or two. Cheers Pie
  21. Jerry, Without wishing to step on Dave's toes to whom your question was addressed might I say that 3 simple words cover the change from the 500 baht BF days (and bear in mind that was the norm in gogo bars 10+, yes 10+, years ago) and the then plentiful supply of attractive girls in the gogo bars. Cellphones, Internet, Sponsors. Attitudes have disappeared south too, and will continue thus. Your biggest problem, even with a gogo girl then, was getting rid of her in the morning or trying to shower alone so you could have a good fart in privacy. Now it's somewhat different. Che
  22. This is a duplicate post from the one in the Member's bar, the reasons for which are explained below. Martin and I were having a discussion the other night in Catz about how many people visit this section and would see party pics here as opposed to if they were posted in the main section. Thus he and I agreed that it would make an interesting experiment to see what the click ratio was between the two posts. So I/we apologise now if you've wasted a bit of time but it's all about trying to make the board better for all. On with the post........... Many thanks to Mirkwood an
  23. Many, many thanks to those that could make it for one of the best nights I've ever had. A remarkable turnout and a shedload of fun - almost made it worthwhile to hit the half-century. What follows is mainly a pictorial with a few comments here and there. There are so many more photos I'd love to post from when the REAL fun started around 12.30. Strangeluv and Ruskiehat borrowed my camera and put it to very good use later in the evening but in today's Pattaya website world - unlike years gone by - it's no longer an option to post them sadly. Anyway - here's a selection of the sanit
