I`m a little worried that if I pay the full balance up front, and say it isn`t guest friendly, wouldn`t be able to check out because I would lose the lot.

Ok I`m still undecided where to stay in June, made reservation enquiries at Baybreeze and Areca lodge, so far I have only got a reply from lodge. They say that deposit of 3`500 baht by 8/3/05, no problem. But they say they want the balance by 5/6/05.(two weeks before departure) shouldn`t really be a problem but can someone tell me how they send the voucher through to you? don`t have a printer on my pc, and I am not entirely confident with the Thai postal service. they say that my room is not guaranteed if I turn up without voucher!

Just been to the booking site and it says they would want a deposit of between 10 and 30% and the balance 2 days before arrival, is that right?

So can I have the location of Ardeca lodge? is it down that soi next to Kiss restaurant? and how far?

I take the view that most of these bloaters were origanally booked to go to Phuket, when that island is up and running again then we will get Patters back for ourselves again

Stayed there around two years ago, doubt it as changed that much in that time, checked out after just one night, the room I had was dingy and horrible and the bed was hard as a rock!!! would not recommend in any way or form!!!

Just read some of the reviews on this place and they look very encouraging, but can someone tell me exactly where it is, says opposite soi 10 on 2nd road, but I don`t recall seeing any hotels around soi 10 and I`ve been 16 times!!!

I was thinking of staying at the LEK for my next trip....think I just changed my mind!!!
