Hi Vox. mate I would love the hotels to have DSL but that no doubt would cost an arm and a leg. Yeah the oh so slow dialup will have to do. Do the hotel switchboards cause any dramas with the connections? Thanks Bazza

Hi guys, On a recent trip report I mentioned that I visited the Opera Hotel. Here are some details. Its behind the First Hotel and great location if you want to stay near Pantip Plaza. 500B a night. Cant say whats its like as haven't stayed there since the early 80's Cheers Bazza

Does anybody have information on the suites in the Eastiny Place hotel in Soi 8. What is the room rate for the suites? What floor are they on? etc I stayed at the Eastiny Place in March this year. Great hotel even though I had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the soi (Room 614 B ) and yes you could hear that guy with the whistle from the Sunbeam across the soi. I was too busy having fun with my TG to realise they had suites. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Bazza

Helllo SoCalGuy, Sorry mate was never up that early!!! The pool was very clean and there was a guy hanging around in the several times I used the pool who kept the area clean and got food and drinks for the guests. By the way, the hotel supplies towels for the pool. Hope this helps Cheers Bazza from Oz

Here are some photos taken in a suite at the Sandy Spring hotel several days ago. Also some views from the room. It was room 707 and in this suite there was no shower recess. The suites are just two rooms with a connectiing door and only one double bed. Two bathrooms, two tvs, two fridges etc A great place to stay.
