If I missed any reviews then I apologise but can't see any. The Lek Hotel, soi 13. Anybody used it, is it joiner friendly etc. The advertise the New Building and what I suppose is the old wing....? Any info would be appreciated......... jack

Just a thought and would appreciate info plz guys. Am returning from a months stay in Pttya May via Air france. As we are in the EEC am I allowed extra through customs if I purchase it at Charles De Gaulle Airport..........??? IF I drive over to France I can bring it back by the van load if I say it's a Wedding Party etc. Whats the thoughts guys please........ Thanks in advance jack

Just do your own thing I guess............. Some handle the heat better than others so do what is right for you. You will know within minutes of stepping outside the aircon hotel !!! Personally I prefer pants at night as the mozzies just luv me Personality overtakes dress in most cases, if ya don't stink that is...... jack

Never booked one yet so I aint never been let down. Walk outside the terminal, turn right and there is a small desk........ Jump in and go, pay the agreed price when you get there and give the guy a tip. No hassle, no let downs...... jack. keep it simple huh...........

There is something in what valentino says here. I met a girls mother too, she had a rather long bus ride but wanted to "Meet" the farang. All went well as I bought us all a nice breakfast and then off to the beach for a relaxing day. Mid afternoon was back to the hotel for a meal. Mother had a tickly cough and before she left I gave 1000 baht saying get some medicine...;-) Damn if she wasn't back 3-4 times a week telling the daughter to tell me the cough was still there. It had become "Expected" as I had set a president ???? just a thought is all. jack

I am wondering how you guys rate the hotels in general for honesty. I am wanting to take my laptop with me this time as well as my digital camera. These obviously don't fit into a "Room Safe" or safety box so it's down to the integrity of the maids and cleaners I guess. Does anyony "Know" of any hotels I should stay away from as I have not booked yet although I arrive at BKK on 15t April and then straight to Pattaya. Wouls really appreciate any "Scary" hotel info... Well Said sinbin.... in truth I "DO" get a giggle reading the antics of the guys and i "Really" belive as and when they meet up a few well meaning pints will change hands. But "Sometimes" the gang are getting good info here and the "In House" bickering can lose the thread.
