This may seem like a silly suggestion, but I just bought a couple of cheap dvd players in tesco, in the uk, which we are going to take out of the box, and pop them in wifes suitcase as they are only about an inch high out of the box, to take to ghana for the inlaws, if you have friends or family coming out to see you it may be worth a try, they were on special offer at the moment, £17.50, at current exchange rates less than 900 bht each.

Well I think it would be very rude of me not to provide an opinion of this place when I come over to patts for my first trip this year, have had several occasions when a girl (thai girls based in london) that is supposed to allow back door action but then says "you too big", or "you hurt to mutt". If I can go to a place where it is all laid out on a menu then I think it would make a great introduction to a holiday in patts, i won't be barfining any but I will definately be there once on my trip. And I will be looking left of the yellow line...........

I am interested in cheap tickets, I have been trying to find a deal , but the cheapest tickets i can find in march or april is nearly £500, I only plan to come or about 9/10 days and my budget for the entire trip is about, £1000/1050. I worked out my budget on the flight deals I got last year(when I had to cancel at the last minute) I paid £360 inc taxes, but it was abit later in the year, end of april I think. As I have posted elsewhere today Qatar airways quoting £370 with one person travelling, this has saved me £220 over best price BA/QUANTAS. Seems a good deal so I have gone with them.

Just booked 10 day trip with flights through lastminute.com for £370 + ins. Flights are with Qatar with a twenty five minute stop in Doha on the way. Best deal I could find for somebody travelling on their own. Cheers, bigjl See yah in mid april

tried to get details of thai airways flights on travelocity.co.uk but nothing got close to the £400 odd that was mentioned. Is this offer only available at certain times of year I tried to book in April?? :crying
