the halifax charge 14 pound for the transfer.i assume you are from the uk the post office is good for rapid transactions receive the next day but the charge is more than the bank and they sting you on exchange rate. iam not sure if moneygram can send to your bank as my brother sent me money which was collected in person as i have no bank account in thailand.

hilly.i had the same symptoms as yourself.my freind who plays of plus 2 works in a pro shop, and extended my clubs an extra 2 inches, because of my size (tall not fat) it looked like they were junior clubs and when i adressed the ball in my comfortable stance,he noticed that the club head was way of sitting perfect for a sweet spot strike if you like.so i was hunched over the ball and trying to change my comfortable stance and swing to ensure the bottom edge of the club sat flat to the ground rather than the bottom edge pointing up.it did defo improve my shots of the tee and elswhere. i hope you are still with me as i have lost myself of course this is only of use if you are a big guy.my freind also wanted to bend the heads downwards so that the club head would sit even better for my stance.but could not because he said they are old clubs they dont give like new ones and could snap if he tried.as for the driving i only use a 7 wood and can easily strike over 220 yards with it.but this is because of my swing my freiend thinks it is because at moment of contact the face of club is more like a driver than a 7 wood.i think a seven wood is the same in distance as a 5 iron but i can hit the wood a lot further.if you have got plenty of money get custom fitted clubs as they will be perfect for your stance etc.my freind gets ping clubs free and they renew them every six months or so, i asked him for old ones but they take them when they give him new ones.he says the custom fitting has improved his game, but he is at a different level to the likes of us.this probably does not help but good luck in solving it,i think golf is harder to work out than the tgs.

i dont think it is mate but not 100% sure.when i went to koh samet they had a big sign warning about malaria, apparantly it was a problem a few years back, just buy some spray in thailand i found it to be very effective against the little bastards,i would say you would be unlucky, same as women m8 take precautions, try not to leave the door or any windows open on your bungalow especially at night and you should be ok good luck

british airways are the worst airline i have flown i do not understand how they make money.they are expensive and sevice is terrible nothing like china or thai stewardess.i once booked with quantas as they have 34 inch pitch witch for me is essential compared to most 32 inch.but flying from heathrow i was thrown on a ba flight i only had a few drinks one when they come round with trolley about 1 hour into flight another with my first meal,i then rang the bell and asked for a drink she said i have had enough, fucking slut.i know some people drink to much you do see the odd asshole on a flight to much to drink and very rude to staff.but refusing drinks when i had only had a couple that to me can cause air rage of course i accepted it even though i wanted to slap the bitch.however on the return i was with quantas which were excellent more leg room and the aussie staff were first class up and down all the time with fruit drinks and water etc not like ba after the first meal you hardly see them and when you ring and ask for something they look put out by your request.about an hour into flight i asked for bacardi and coke the chap came back with a plastic glass full of bacardi a big can of coke and a glass full of ice and said if you want another one give me a shout even got a bottle of good aussie wine to take home.the steward said the best folded blankets would receive a bottle of wine or champers,i did not even use ny blanket so took it out of wrapper and handed it to steward in pristine condition the lady next to me was trying to fold hers neatly and did not get a bottle she grassed me up to steward who just said so what look at size of him i am not taking it back when i was getting of the plane i told steward about the difference in quality all around compared to ba he said we get alot of complaints about ba especially when you have booked quantas he told me quantas have set days when they fly from heathrow so you can make sure you dont get ba.quantas should not of merged with ba but obviously its all about money.maybe i was unlucky with ba staff maybe she was on the rags.but i will never fly ba again can get cheaper and better elswhere.

a friend of my uncle stays honey inn he likes it stays there all the time good location and cheap.but i think you can get better for money.i have seen the rooms and cafe etc and the photos on the net must be 20 years old unless they have refurbed in the last two years.i would say if they are your two choices go with viewtaly but if you want viewtaly judging by peoples comment on here book now or you might not get a room at viewtalay maybe you wont get room on walk in even at honey inn as it will be full during christmas.pm gabor he has what looks like a nice condo if still available good luck

tom. i used to always fly man to amsterdam or manchester to dubai iam from n.wales and manchester airport is about 1 hour an hour and a half tops.the last trip i flew from heathrow direct with thai air imho it is better from heathrow a lot quicker for only a couple hours more in a car if you fly from man you have to check in 2 hours before. wait in amsterdam for connection or wait in dubai for 4 hours. and if you fly from manchester make sure you allow a lot of time for the connection to bangkok.we were delayed for 2 hours in manchester due to bad weather, they did not have time to load the bags on to china airlines flight to bangkok we got of the plane and had to leg it for the connection this has happened once to me and twice to my uncle and mates.so when booking make sure you take the earlier flight from manchester to ams the travel agent you book with will probably book it not taking into account of any delays.my uncle always takes an earlier first leg flight now even though he has to stay in amsterdam a bit longer.obviously if i was further north i would fly from manchester but imho much less hassle going direct i hate the length of time it all takes it would be nice if pattaya was a couple of hours away.when i go back in november iam flying evergreen deluxe with two mates, but my uncle and a few more are flying from manchester they still prefer man they like the break they are flying emirates and will stop in dubai but for me i would rather get there.tom iam looking to reserve my seat with eva ir deluxe as iam 6 foot six i could do with a seat with no one in front of me how do you know or find out which type of plane i will be on to give them the number of seat i wish to reserve.do they fly certain planes on certain days or is it pot luck. cheers tom good luck

while i was in pataya last christmas a hotel on soi boukou next to old sewage place forget name has a good restaurant called mamas kitchen, anyway i was eating there one day and seen 4 or 5 boys in brown walking in the hotel. in pattaya mail it said all the lockers were robbed behind reception apparantly a farang bought the recpetionest a drink which she claims was drugged.dont now what happened after that whether people were caught or not.but like cybers says i think they are saver than in room safes.do the staff know the code or do you enter a new one yourself which could be tricky as people get to mawr to remember number.i have heard of a few places where the in room safes have been broken into or maybe staff robbed who knows.but atleast on the reception safes you buy a padlock which you only have a key for safer in my opinon.good luck

big mike take your sarcasm elswhere.iam trying to help bronto like irishman and gregb suggested somewhere for me to look Fucking hell what's the matter with you guys. A paltry 5 bucks a night when your on holidays, give me a break. The drink prices and B/F'S go up so what the fuck are you carrying on about. Just my opinion. Bigmike. that is not helping bronto or anyone.why dont you stick to helping people instead of slagging them.from reading many topics on here i can see that you know a fair bit about thailand and people apreciate your input when it is of any use. from my next post you say-You say that you pay 7000Baht per month for a room on previous trips, that's whole 3 pommy pounds per night for a room. Well I can only imagine that you must have very exciting holidays in Thailand, but on the other hand if thats you scene and you enjoy it OK. Bigmike. so from your sarcasm i assume because i pay 7000 a room for a month i dont have a good holiday you dont know what the fuck your talking about i would rather have more money for tgs and beer etc than a hotel room that i only sleep in.iam out all day and most the night. maybe at your age you have less tgs and drink less beer and stay in the room a lot more so it is more important for you to have a good room.you might have a tidy budget but a lot of us dont.sorry if you think iam being out of order here but your last two posts have been total shite.

bronto the monthly rate is including christmas period.big mike take a chill pill.maybe 5 bucks is not a lot to you,iam am 27 years old with not much savings i work my but of six sometimes 7 days a week on building sites i would rather get the best deal possible because 60,000 is a lot of money for me.i have never known the price of tg and beer increase in price in general.most of my local watering holes the price stays the same or maybe to drunk to notice.like you say bronto some of us go on a budget i usually stay utid court 7000 a month very good for money.but i have got a lot of overtime in since last years trip so will be looking 20,000 top line for room per month.but i reckon can get good deal some where. cheers greg will check that out i have got about 5 places to look at nova lodge north pattaya sunshinevista the ritz nong apartment yensabai condo etc no rush when staying 3 months.bronto if you want somwhere cheaper soi 13 try emailing lek hotel there daily rate is 600 or 700 i think never stayed there but seems to be good hotel judging from peoples opinions on here.good luck
-
good point irishman, but i have found it quiet start of november so iam thinking of looking around for a deal.the dynasty and sandy springs could of filled up by then through people reserving rooms.as they seem popular hotels on this forum alone a lot of people stay there, so like irishman says you might not get a room.depending on your budget it is a good price.its not much of our good old pounds at the minute hope exchange rate keeps going up.i dont mind staying a short taxi ride away from the action if i can get a better room for the money.but you stated you want soi 13 so to be safe i would book at that rate as the dynasty inn gets the thumbs up from many people on here.all the best
-
hi bronto iam also staying three months as of mid november i emailed a few hotels for prices for long stay. you say you want to stay soi 13,iemailed dynasty inn they replied The daily rate is 990 baht per night net wihtout breakfast. The monthly rate is 680 baht per night net without breakfast (680x30days = 20,400 baht pay in advance when you check in). sandy springs replied Thank you for your e-mail. The standard room rate for the long period is 950 baht/room/night. Please, confirm your reservation and your check in time. We are looking forward to serve you. Best regards Nuansri Phanichphakdee i emailed sandy springs again to see if they could match dynasty inn monthly rate, they replied sorry they could not so ithink i will stay dynasty inn 20,400 1 month not bad,but i will wait till i get there and try and get cheaper on walk in.will stay for 2 nights defo and look at a few other hotels for maybe a better deal.the 4th of november there should be plenty of rooms, book in somewhere for anight and have good look around should get a deal for three months.good luck
