Hey..., that is our national dish!
-
'Poi' is that the raw beef meat chopped and mixed with herbs and very spicy? I thought that was 'Koi' But if it's the same thing, I can eat it. It's ok In Belgium we eat a similar dish but we only use almost fat free red meat (Thai mix it with intestines and fat), but it's the same principal. We eat frog legs too and wild boar and beef tongue (when prepared right it's very good). We also eat cow's udder. I wonder if that is eaten in other countries too. We buy it already boiled, cut in pastes and then we fry it.

You could go back to the US to get another double-entry visa.

I agree that the chance of getting in trouble is substantially diminished by sticking to your sensible rules. But I think you may have a slightly upbeat view of Thai society and some Thai peoples intentions. A girl with a farang boyfriend impels a lot of envy, especially with other ladies. They will tell her all right! But not because of feelings of solidarity or sympathy, but because of unholy glee.

Thai eat it too. The shiny red-brownish chunks in some soups. Had my TGF try the Spanish version in Madrid but she didn't like it.

Where do you get the inappropriate astuteness that 'Essahn' would be the right notation? There is no official spelling for Thai names or words in Latin grapheme. It could as well be 'Issam' or 'Isaan' or 'Isan' (which are all three more likely solutions than yours). If you ask me, a pretty 'farting'-presumptuous remark! What makes you so frustrated that you find pleasure in putting other people down on (unjust) flea-bites? Even more so because after some contradiction you raise the gutless defense that you didn't grasp what he meant. While your post showes you understood all too well. Some

Would you give her a job ?,

I think I would not take her back. She's too much trouble! If she's really that hard to get on with it will scare off your customers and her attitude towards her collegues will put unrest and anxiety among the girls. One more thing: if she can be hard and difficult and still come back what does that show to the other girls? I think she must be exceptionally pretty or/and a hot showgirl for you to even consider to take her back. But, in the end, of course it's 'up to you'. Good luck -
Worth a try, sounds good. No website, pics of girls?

Sunshine vista serviced apartments Guest Fee??
amphora replied to bostondoc's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Prices now are (res24.com): Superior single 1000 Bt Superior twin 1150 Bt Deluxe single 1150 Bt Deluxe double 1300 Bt So, chances are the guest fee would be 150 Bt right now. This way a guest fee is not irregular IMO. They should put it on the bill though. If not probably a scam. -
Thanks guismo11 and BigDUSA ! Hope to know more on wednesday.

Oh you lucky bastards! I was supposed to leave on sunday (June 3th) for LOS, but got phone call yesterday from my doctor that on the last X-rays there is something suspicious to be seen. So they have to check by CT-scan and even PET-scan. (see one of my previous posts for some clarification. DAMN !!! Why this happens to me?

The 'professional translation' part seems very reliable to me

Airbus and Boeing products running behind schedule
amphora replied to BigDUSA's topic in Idle Chit Chat
That was in fact the chain of events. I think after that incident FAA certification required a inert gas sytem to be installed also in older 747's, but I'm not really sure about that. -
There is no reason that should be a problem. You do nothing exceptional. You can have as many 30 day stays you like if you do not more than 2 visa runs or if there is 3 months inbetween your stays. For the 3 months in 2008 there are several posibilities: 1. It might be easier to get a multiple entry visa (2 x 60 day stays) - you have to do 1 visa run on the right moment then. 2. or a 60 days tourist visa and do one visa run 3. or a 60 day tourist visa and ask immigration in Jomtien to give you a 30 day extension. In my experience it's no problem to get that (1 time). 4. No visa and do
