Cheers Dave. I thought it was a good deal aswell!
-
Yea the price includes all VAT and service charges! I know in the Summer it is classed as "Low Season" in Pattaya but I stayed in the Marriott last Summer for a month and it was fully booked everyday so thats why u wont get a huge discount on prices beacuse they dont have to as people book up the hotel anyway! Last Summer I was talking to a bloke and his wife who were staying in the room next to us and they had paid £80 a night while I had only paid £55. Its all about trying to shop around for the best price. I used this company last Summer and have used it again for this year

personally speaking I have never seen the Marriott hotel being offered so low in price. £50 is a very good price for the hotel, some people have replied saying they have had it 50% of my price but I doubt that! £25-£35 pounds a night???? doubtful!

Hi everyone, Just booked up for 24 nights in Pattaya Marriott during July/August - Cost £1230 for 24 nights. That works out at just over £50 a night. I was well chuffed with this deal!! Thoughts? Anyone got any ideas on where to stay in Hua Hin? I was thinking the Hilton. Cheers everyone. Happy New Year

Hi tonemar, I am good friends with Chris also. I am sure that we will have met in Spicys before. I was across in the Summer for 4 weeks.

Hi Lads, Apparently Spicy girls on Soi Pattayaland is changing into 50% beer bar - 50% go-go. Has anyone seen its since its renaissance? Cheers Lads.

My friend, his farang g/f and his son stayed at the woodlands last Summer for 2 weeks. They said the hotel was very good. His son is only 8 but they sid the pool etc were very good. Bit to much out of the way for me but each to their own!

I would recommened the Marriott. I stayed there for a month in the Summer and the hotel is absolutely superb! The pool, the restaurants, the staff are all 5 star! Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in aswell! Plus it is central and is next door to royal garden where u have loads of shops, restaurants and ripleys which would be gr8 for the kids!

I was across in Pattaya for July and August and I have never seen it so quite. A few of my mates have bars in Soi Pattayaland and Soi 6 and they were saying the same. Dont get me wrong I still had a gr8 time and on the weekends walking street would get alittle busier due to people coming down from Bangkok!

I have spoken to my travel agent in the Uk and he said he has already changed my dates on the china airlines computer for my return flight to the Uk,(He did'nt want to have to re-issue me with new tickets because it cost alot more than the normal £80 just to change your dates, so he said just take orginal tickets and just go to the aiport on the day we have changed to and check in) he has informed me that need to pay for the change of date fee when I get to BKK airport and check-in on my way out of bkk. I forgot to ask him if he had sorted my Amsterdam-Newcastle connetion out, he prob will ha

The 1st flight from BKK to Amsterdam is with China then the connecting flight from Amsterdamn to Newcastle is with KLM.

I fly from BKK - Amsterdamn - Newcastle When I go to a travel agent in Pattaya to change my return date to the UK will they change my connecting flight from Amsterdam to Newcastle aswell so I dont have to do it when I get to Amsterdam airport? Thanks.
-
so lets say on my original tickets it says my return flight is on the 11th august but I want to extend my trip till the 20th. I just go to a travel agent and they change the date, then when I go to the airport on the 20th when I check-in it will be their computer that I have changed my ticket date? When u pay the fee to change your date at check-in inside the airport, can u pay using a visa card or does it have to be cash? Thanks everyone.
-
how much did it cost u to change your return date? Did u do this in Pattaya? No problems when u got to bkk airport? thanks
-
I sent my tickets back including a cheque for £160 to change my dates (me and the wife) which my travel agent informed me to do. Today my travel agent phoned me to say that China Airlines has introduced a new contract for changing and re-issuing tickets. The guy continued to tell me CI now asks for £115 to change date of ticket and an extra £80 to re-issue tickets. so total being £195 each! However he said he had phoned China Airlines and explained that I have had my ticket booked for months etc etc. So china said that he could book my new outbound date into the computer but could'nt re-is

Hiya Blueeyes, I really enjoy looking through your pictures of the different days of the week, it helps bring my trip in the Summer just that little bit closer. I am just wondering if your could do me a huge favour when your out with your camera. In the Summer I am staying in the Marriott for 26 nights, if possible could you go and take a few photos of the inside of it just so I can have a look what it is like. Maybe the pool, tennis courts, etc etc. I am staying in a deluxe garden view room so if u could get a pic inside one of them that would be incredible. Thanks again mate. Hop -

hi Blueeyes, another great set of pics mate. Did u get my private message about the Marriott? Thanks. -
Thanks for your scores Dungheap, Has anyone else stayed at the Marriott and can give me marks out of 10. Also do the Bathrooms have a bath and a shower? We chose the garden view room because it is on a lower floor, we both like being on either 1st or 2nd floor instead of being stuck high in the clouds and having to wait for a lift everytime u want to go out of the hotel. Cheers.

Cheers Dave, I am not bothered if they are girl-friendly or not cause I am staying with the missus (who is Thai) anyway. Anymore comments about the Marriott would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
