Hi everyone, I have just booked to stay 25 nights in the Pattaya Marriott for the Summer. I am just wondering if anyone has stayed there recently and can give me a review of the place. I am looking forward to my stay there because me and this missus normally stay in a cheaper hotel but this year decided to stay at a top-notch place. Pool out of 10? Bedrooms out of 10? Bathrooms out of 10? Cleanliness out of 10? We r staying in a deluxe garden-view room Thanks everyone

I have spoken to my travel agent this morning and they reckon it will cost me £160 (£80 each for my wife and myself) to change our date of return. Is this correct or are they having my pants down?

hi everyone, I am currently booked up for 24 nights in Thailand in July/August but I am considering increasing my stay by 4 extra days. The only problem is my China Business class tickets have already been issued to me by the travel agent. Does anyone know how much it is to change the return date on my ticket to a later date? I am using China airlines Dynasty class in the Summer, I was just wondering what is your weight limit for baggage? it is normally 20kg with all other airlines and I think about 7kg for hand luggage. Any ideas?

I am heading to Pattaya in July for a month, before I visit Thailand I usually get about £200 worth of baht from an internet exchange company (got 74, last year) just to tick me over for the first few days. But at the minute the exchange rate is about 64. Should I just wait and exchange some sterling in BKK airport or bring travellers cheques? Cheers everyone

Hi people I am looking to book a hotel for me and the wife (who is Thai) to stay 4 nights in Bangkok, we r looking for a nice hotel (4or5 star) which is near the action, anyone got any recommendations? I have been looking at the Dusit Thani bangkok, I know this hotel is near Patpong. We have never stayed in Bangkok because we normally just head straight down to Pattaya so i have no idea where is busy to go out drinking and partying. A couple of years ago I stayed in the Lama Wata resort, it was fantastic, I think I only paid 1,500 Baht.

I was across in July this year for a month and I thought the weather was pretty poor to be fair, had quite alot of rain compared to other years when I have been in July/August.

The man I got and get my football shirts if of a Thai guy called Woody, he is located on 2nd road just before u get to the "Smaller" Mike shopping mall. His lock up is directly opposite "Bobs's Boot Leather".

Just booked the Marriott for 21 nights next Summer in a Deluxe Garden View Room for £1026, that works out at about £48 a night! (Very cheap compared to some other hotel booking websites) I know people will reply and say why pay that price for a hotel, but I am only going to Pattaya once in a year compared to my normal 2-3 trips so I thought fuck it! Hi Guys, I need a nice bangkok hotel for me and the wife to stay in for a few days next Summer. We would like one close to the action so we can go for a few drinks and nearby for some of the markets. Well guys even after all your different posts on either economy or business class I am still totally undecided on what to travel. I worked out last night it will cost around an extra £400 each for me and the missus to fly business with China airlines, I might just bite the bullet and bang it on a credit card! I think I am just going to go for either KLM economy class or China Economy class, the only thing with KLM economy is the inflight enterainment is shit because u dont have a screen in the headrest infront of u, unless this has changed?. Has China been getting any newer planes because the last time I flew with them they had one screen for the whole of one section of economy class, anyone know? Cheers lads for all the insight.

Thanks Tom, Moby69 what is wrong in wanting to stay at the Marriott, now with my teaching job I can only make the trip to Pattaya once or maybe twice a year due to term times so meaning I want to stay in a top hotel. Personally speaking I dont class this as thinking myself as being ''large''. I just want to enjoy my months long stint in Pattaya.

hi guys, I can get a flight from Newcastle-Schipol-bkk flying China Airlines economy for £565 (next july) or I upgrade to business class and pay £945, my question is, it worth paying the extra £380? Any help would be much appreciated cause I cant make up my bastard mind! Thanks guys!

Just got a price of: Deluxe Garden view = £972 for 20 nights Deluxe Sea-View = £1116 for 20 nights I dont know which one to book. I am staying with the wife so I obviously want a double bed and not two singles, do both of these types of rooms have doubles beds or do some of them 2 singles, anyone know?
